It’s earlier then the manga weather it’s tooo early is a matter of opinion however. (People have been guessing Zoro might have it since Rayleighs introduction anyways so 🤷‍♂️)

Onigashima can be read as Oni ga shima (鬼ヶ島), which means Ghost's Island. Oni means ghost, that usually denote as Japanese type of ghost, having one or two horn in the head and have physical body (unlike ghost in western or other place that ghost usually look like spiritual), much like a beast or monster in Japanese folk story. Shima means island.

From my understanding 鬼 being "ghost" is the original Chinese meaning. If used in Japanese, since it specifically refers to the being you described (physical body, one or two horns), the typical translations tend to be "ogre" or "demon".

The thing is that her episodes take like 6-9 months to create, because they have so much detail. That's why you only see them every so often.
