We are looking for suggestions for movies that are non-anime related or K drama related as I feel when we already serve the population in a high volume.

We made a commitment to post two movies a month since adding the $15 tier. Thanks for all who support that.

I’ll be messaging you to find out what continent are you guys consume the most and keep that in mind.

We have a movie channel which is another reason I’m not looking for anime content/ kdrama as that is to cater and build a different audience

If Korean Cinema is off the table, might I suggest Hong Kong? John Woo is a good place to start: A Better Tomorrow 1+2 (skip the official ABT3, long story), The Killer, Bullet In The Head (originally called A Better Tomorrow 3), and Hard Boiled. Ringo Lam is also a great HK director. Also coincidentally A Better Tomorrow had 2 remakes, 2018 was by mainland China without John Woo involved, and a 2010 remake, in Korea with Korean actors, directed by John Woo again. It all comes full circle

Karon Scott

Knives Out, and Glass onion are a fun series. The creed series would be cool too, if yall havent watched them yet. I think lee would enjoy his character arc throughout the series.

Ellie

snowpiercer

Maleny

You could do the old Knives Out/Glass Onion combo. Two tightly written modern murder mysteries. Or Bullet Train, maybe? That's pretty solidly plotted too, with a bunch of cool action scenes. edit: this is stuff people already said, so I'll throw in an original thought and say The Raid and The Raid 2 remain two of the best action movies ever crafted. They're Indonesian martial arts films.

Dist

Dune (2020) - I need to rewatch it before November when Dune part 2 comes out.

Thamor

Snowpiercer or The Tomorrow War just for some change in what you usually now constantly watch.

Knives Out (2019), Pearl (2022), Midsommar (2019), Man of Tai Chi (2013), The Night Comes For Us (2018), The Big 4 (2022), Polite Society (2023), Everything, Everywhere, All At Once (2022).

Also I know you said no "kdrama" related movies, but Korean Movies are their own thing and usually unrelated to any series outside of that one Kingdom movie prequel to the show which was sort of a flop. Some quality Korean directed or casted movies: I Saw The Devil(2010), Old Boy (2003), The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos (2019), The Thieves (2012), I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK (2006), Penny Pinchers/A Penny pinching Romance(2011)

Dirty_Oldman

What kind of movies? Is this old movies or new movies?

94_h

Spree and Missing. Those 2 movies: MASTERPIECES. Both movies are very different but their similarity relies on how they use a found footage filming style and most action is shot through GoPro, phone cameras and screenvideo shots (if that makes sense, haha). You will find this fascinating as the content creators that you are!

94_h

Hereditary is a fantastic horror film that I love. 100% recommend it.

Truth or dare (2018) it's a horror movie ,I think it's quite interesting; Dungeons and dragons: honour among thieves (2023) it's soo good - and you don't have to know any thing about dnd to watch or enjoy it incase you're worried about that.

Dist

@yaboyrocklee Dune is missing from both inventory of reactions and the schedule.

Since you've watched a couple of Indian movies on the channel, I want to recommend a Bollywood movie: Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. It's quite different to what you'd expect from an Indian film, it's more westernized but a great film nonetheless. If you're looking for western movie suggestions, then I'd suggest The Prestige or Shutter Island (I've been on a Nolan kick anticipating Oppenheimer)

94_h

A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place II are top tier. Incredibly well done, performed and written.
