I am actually self-conscious of this reaction lol cuz folks kept hyping it up and enjoyed it but didn't feel over-excited. Even on Patreon without spoiling folks hype up the next episode and I dunno what it is but I look for hype and end up not feeling hype....but I generally get hype when I don't know it's supposed to hype lol...
For example..I don't think Kaido is all that cool..folks hyped him up...
I like Big Mom, folks don't care about her...

Zoro gets the hype....so I like Sanji ha ha ha...I don't make conscious choice...that's just how things work out...but anyways dope episode...no way to sit her and think Luffy not gonna live.  I like the speeches. I like Nami's moment.

That's fine. I understand people hyping something to absurd degrees and the hype not living up. The over hype almost always makes a scene lose its hype. That's why I don't like hyping things up myself, I like under selling and over delivering for stories.

Yeah the OP community can get overzealous as hell at times lol. Im a manga reader and when this shit happened in the manga people were losing their minds but it's not that hype. People have just been wanting answers for so long that any crumb we get like this joyboy revelation gets blown up to 100.

Nah the joyboy line was enough for a lot of fans to get majorly hype even back when this happened in the manga. It set up similarly in the manga. But the OST really amped it up

You're too hard on yourself. Your reaction is good. Sometimes the pacing in One Piece makes it hard for the andreline to rush and this episode was more of a build up. As long as you don't hate the series and try to give a transparent reaction, thats all that matters. This goes for all series.

Honestly there's not much hype since the pacing is not good, people only hype that last scene regarding that drum, and they didn't talked much regarding to Nami & Yamato speech too which is btw I really enjoy your reaction in general that talked about all of those.

I know it may seem over hyped but for manga readers have been waiting for these last 3chapters to be animated for years and that excitement doesn't rally translate to anime only but you'll get the most in the next episodes.
