Loved Yhwach taking back his voice himself. Really fits his character and arc. The Squad 0 fight was considered the worst fight in the manga by many. So glad they did it justice. Much respect to Kubo and the team at Pierrot.

Mixedshinigami

I love both of these episodes because so much stuff is new to me as a manga reader. I thought there'd be a bit but I was not expecting that shaking the heavens and earth bankai

Chris Barnes

In the manga zero squad got off screened killed. This was a massive change from one of the most controversial moments in the manga.

Danny

Im so glad I live to see this day. They gave this fight so much justice. I can only imagine what new content/fights they will change or add to the later parts. Kubo was finally able to fix the things he wasnt able to do back then.

godUsoland

"For the Sake of the Sereitei" Urahara ain't shit lol

L.C.

On one hand I love how well they are adapting this. On the other hand I am pissed off that they just entirely skipped over the fanservice stuff with Orihime and Yoruichi

No Ichibe vs Yhwach is considered one of the best fights in the manga. Its the squad zero fight that was disappointing because it wasnt even shown, it happened off panel

Justin Yong
>>118742966

I didn't specify which fight but yeah. Ichibei vs Yhwach is fine and is pretty much the same as the manga. We both knew what I was talking about though man. Edit: to be fair I probably could have specified. Cheers.

Dirty_Oldman

Ichibei power revolves around his duty to the soul king. They went over it when Ichigo visited each of the members. Don’t think they said exactly what Ichibei’s role is so not gonna say more.

SpartanManJDOGG

Glad we actually got the squad zero fight in the anime. These last 3 episodes were mostly new content that wasn't in the manga

L.C.

Ichebei is literally so insanely OP that I don't think you guys even got the full extent of it here. I don't want to accidently spoil anything of what I know but if someone can go up against Ichebei kenpachi probably won't make the cut.

Me saying that is just my own opinion. Its hard to scale powers with a series that have more than just basic dragonball power levels

Yeah. Too bad they screwed us over with the skipping of the fanservice stuff we were supposed to get. That is the big mark against them that I have. Shouldn't have to censor anything. If it was in the manga adapt it.

Dionne McCrary

😂😂y’all look directly at names and STILL say them wrong. I laugh every time. But honestly great reaction. Whether you understand things or not, I love how you guys talk it through and give your theories!!!

mothercookie

DirectorNasty was on the money the kon and other stories is cut stuff. think of it as a way to show your stuff that was cut but make cheap and just the VAs

Lotus Gramarye
>>118746131

Cutting content isn't censoring you nitwit. They are given a limited number of episodes to adapt the arc, and so adding in new content requires cutting unnecessary moments, which is what they are doing. If u wanna see those moments just reread the manga you baby.

Lotus Gramarye

In general this episode is far superior to the manga because of the added content, but a cool aspect is lost from it being anime and not manga. Ichibes sword, Ichimonji, gives him control over all "black ". How is manga colored? In black and white. He has literal control over the fabric of reality. (And Kubo goes all in with the hard blacks in the associated chapter. It's worth reading on its own it's seriously beautiful.)

Yeah it was a fun way to end (no matter what anyone says imo). It brings back an anime classic, gives missing info, and was just a perfect trolling after dropping them bombs. Loved it.

Chocolatedude100

Lee will you guys be reacting to the 1 minute pv? its on the viz channel.

Pilausky

Yo my girl said that long ass bankai name in front of me and I would have switched sides 😭

XXI

Squad zero is actually f*cked up and insanely strong....1bankai can actually tremble words... wrap ur head around that...damn.... also Senjumaru is bae

XXI
>>118750422

If you really think about it...that's gaddamn op too. Man could just visit other anime worlds and just do casual genocide

kimkheang

Kudos to the animators and kubo for making the extra content although I’m a bit nitpicking about the end (not end the fight)

Thamor

Directors face with the ending credits with Kon. First he is wtf am I watching this is annoying...few minutes later Rukia saying "I was naked" he perks up instantly lol

KindaWeirdChampBro

41:04 Adorkable here sees Ohetsu is just fine while everyone looks away and then when Ohetsu gets shot immediately after she says I'm not buying it LOL

BarGamer

@28:32 Kamikake... God cake?? Kyoraku's getting drinks to go with the snacks?? WTF is going on? I'm so confused. (J/k, it translates to something else.)

BarGamer

@1:07:32 I speculate that the longass Bankai names were their attempt at defending against Ichibe's "Paint It Black" ability. Even at half-power, or half-name, they could still use parts of it.

Daniel Turner

Black ant basically jesus giving communion, but taking it back

Artemio Patino

Yhwach always has the coldest lines especially with his voice actor lol

iTzDeionte

Damnnn this update made me lose my spot in all your videos

Mochi

so funny Director simping after the spider Squad Zero Lieutenent lol she's literally an orbweaver spider...they sew spidersilk insanely fast to make strong ass webs.

Mochi
>>119873821

i didn't mean to say lieutenant. idk why i even said that lol oops

Alex

Uehara would totally sacrifice anyone for the greater good. He might not be happy about it, but he's a guy that gets shit done, like mayuri
