Hey guys!

Well, I will try to write a monthly plan again, I hope I can fulfill this now.

August plans:

Publish GK P3 animation (bug fixes, rendering, cutting)

Write the script for parts P2 and P3 (for the sound work)

Creating a poster for the P3 appearance (as in LiT 7)

I will continue the development log posts

For sure, I will send out the P3 animation this month, whatever it is. I want to move on and it's a total pain.

The next big animation will be GK P4. With pussy and anal penetrations. However, before that, I will prepare and finish the accumulated smaller projects. And I'm going to take a little rest.

As always - it gets boring -really

We all need to recharge from time to time...I'm into believing a rested mind is as important as a rested body! We need equal mental and physical relief. Get laid, have a few beers, sleep late, take a vacation...and not necessarily in that order. Work will still be there, but after rejuvenating yourself....you'll tackle the world again! Nobody else is going to take care of you, better than you!

While I agree with Larry it is also time for a bit of tough love: "I will try to write a monthly plan again" You, like me, are a self employed business owner. I know for an Artist that is kinda hard to grasp, but that's what you are. You create and ship a product. The past months have made it abundantly clear that you need to "get your shit in order". That means you don't need to "try and make a monthly plan again". You need to implement an actual time management system asap. I recommend a simple "E3D" System, meaning every 3 days you stop everything, re-evaluate your situation and make a detailed plan for the next 3 days. (I do this Sunday Evening for Mon-Wed and then Wed Evening for Thu-Sat, with Sunday off). And at the very minimum, every evening you make a detailed to-do list for the next day. So you can hit the ground running and don't have to think about it in the morning. You need to set deadlines for yourself and keep them. Work will always take up the time allotted. That way you also don't get burned out. Getting burned out doesn't come from too much work, it comes from feeling overwhelmed because you let too much chaos into your life. And honestly F those "big projects". If i where you, I'd go back to creating smaller animations. You had zero problems doing that when you had no supporters, no money and no pressure. The problems only started when you "made it" and let the pressure get to you. Now you suddenly feel as if you have to "deliver" more than before and it is clearly not working. Lets say you deliver GK3 and it's amazing. People still gonna sit down, watch it and get their dopamine hit. Exactly the same as when you did small animations. Only this time they waited and waited and waited instead of being pleasantly surprised. F that. Whatever your plans are for GK4, scrap it. Chop up the project into 10 (or whatever) ~30 second animations and crank those out one after the other. Set deadlines and publish them. Keep all the project files in MULTIPLE secure locations. And then when you are done publishing all small animations, you have the OPTION to go back, take all that work and invest a month into doing a "All GK4 Animations with sound" movie. So people get a dopamine hit every few weeks or so and then a big one at the end. Plus you already delivered and you can feel free to take time off without having to write a disappointing blog post and apologize to your customers. That is waaaaaay better than the, sorry, shitshow this project was in the last year+. I love you, man. And your work. But the way this is going, i am frankly amazed that you haven't quit by now. Major props for that, but if you continue on this road, it's not gonna end pretty. And all that stress is poison for your creativity by the way.

Your plan sounds solid if Max is feeling the pressure. But it could be he is readjusting to new software and upgraded hardware with 2 dedicated units (something he hasn’t done before).

Take your time, it’s important to continue to enjoy your work and doing it. Don’t burn yourself out.
