Greetings, Lord-patrons. This is the May suggestions box for the monthly map poll! What do you want to see drawn? Leave a comment! Ideas for maps submitted before the 24th will be put into the monthly map poll run next week for May.

Note that I will try to fit outside-genre suggestions to an Asian fantasy theme if possible, since that's what DnDungeon focuses on.

I've been thinking about a terracotta army necropolis of some kind, maybe an ancient underground tomb protecting an ancient emperor's treasures? Could have several themes using terracotta, zombies, yokai, or jiang-shi?

how about school yard for a fight scene.

Throwing in some suggestions to keep the ideas flowing. Feel free to use any. A Kabuki Theatre (interior) - I just think these places are creepy and cool. Sento(The Onsen map for outside is amazing) My concept for this one is an indoor bath house vs hot spring resort. however, they easily can blend together many onsens have Sento also. Interior wise I imagine wood or darker colors so it can fit in with the aesthetic of other maps Perhaps a Japanese estate. (Chinese Nobles estate also great) but more Japanese-flare with Engawa (that veranda style wooden floor that connects buildings) and/or Perhaps just another module kit for outdoor Japanese style buildings/ Japanese gardens? Modular Engawa floorings, Koi ponds, cloud shape trees. so people can build larger houses estates?

I have some suggestions: - a dungeon that turns out to be a forgotten tomb for a dead, unpopular emperor, guarded by terracotta warrior constructs and dangerous traps - a jungle battlefield, set with fantasy or steampunk inspiration from ancient vietnam/cambodia/thailand, perhaps a battle with the undead or with abomination creatures from an eldritch horror? - a chinese/mongolian trade hub or city map set in the desert, with a variety of mixes of cultures like how the silk road was historically in northern china (like eurasian and indian influences). could add fantasy elements where people from different planes would cross over for trading purposes, such as from the upper planes to the feywilds to the elemental planes, etc. with teleportation circles?
