Ngl, I was gonna assume at the end of those chapter that Godwyn and Harry were gonna fuse souls or something.

Godwyn no longer has his soul. I don't know how much you know about the lore of Elden Ring, but on the Night of the Black Knives, Godwyn's soul was slain. Ranni slew her body but not her soul at the same time, which is why she now lives in that strange four-arm doll. All that remains of Godwyn is his body, which grew into a dark, strange matter that can be found below the Erdtree.

I like the story so far! I am a little confused on the timeline though. How long is Harry staying in the Lands Between vs the His original world? How long has it been since chapter 8 which was the last time he was back?

It has been around a week since the last time he was in his actual world, and that's something that will be pointed out very soon, but Harry being in the Lands Between is having an effect on him that will be revealed later.
