I know my problems aren't my patron's problems, but after thirteen days of subsisting off of ramen, my energy levels are low and my frustration is at an all time high. I'm willing to forcibly increase my chapter output to as many as it takes, so please tell me what I need to do to increase my earnings to a sustainable level. I'm willing pick up one of my old projects to write alongside EPIC, focus on The Path, or anything as long as I can eat something substantial and kick back something other than water or black coffee.Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Honestly Ein im not sure exactly how you should go about it I've never been in your profession but i think you are an amazing writer. If you were to just substitute character names and make them a tiny bit different you could make your own IP. And i dont know what you are doing to market your work to further your audience because im allready here so i cant help there but ive alway thought if you made a "clean" version of your own book and then when it was published on other websites you could market your more "Ecchi" chapters for a price here on patreon then have advanced chapters as well like i see a lot of authors do. I know you have the writing speed but i honestly think if you could make revenue off of your book instead of JUST relying on patrons it might help

Is patreon your only source of money? I really have no idea of what to recommend you, I'm a medicine student who is still sustained by my parents. We don't live in luxury, but we have enough and thankfully can vary what we eat most of the time. If patreon is really your only source of income, just increasing the amount of chapters you release won't do it if there is not new people suscribing. The best way would be to somehow promote your works(in my opinion the best there are in the platform), like using webnovel or something... I know you already tried it, but in moments like this the only thing we can all do is keep trying. Times are harsh, I pray your situation improves from the bottom of my heart. Your works are what I use in my free time to distract myself and always brings a smile to my face. Don't give up!

Upgraded my membership to help a bit, but it's the most I can really offer. Wish I could offer more.

TheForgottenKing

Even though it would be more work, you try to spread out to a wider audience with other fanfic sites like Spacebattles, Sufficient Velocity, Questionable Questing, Archive of our Own, fanfiction.net, stuff like that

TheOri9inal

You could copy and paste to other sites. I started on Webnovel reading EPIC and moved to Patreon because you stopped posting as much. Reaching a more varied audience through multiple sites would help I believe

YouInMeAndUs

As people have said, promoting yourself on other sites could work, and I wish you the best of luck, reading your chapters is one of the highlights of my day

NoReasonOrSense

I know you have different tiers, but I think you should put in the different tiers how many chapters you can access per tier. Like first tier has 3, 2nd tier has 6, 3rd tier has 10 or something. Just make the benefits really clear per tier I also think you need to update your other projects as well. Best to do different fandoms so you can reach more people. Post on other sites too - fanfiction.net, scribblehub, qq, ao3 You can also use other paid sites like subscribestar if you want And do part time employment too. I know it’s not writing, but it’ll help you get more income and more food for you to be able to write. If you want to do full time employment, specify what your schedule would be for the different fics, create a stockpile, and do 1 chapter per day.

I'm going to parrot other people and say you should post on other sites. I would say start whit uploading the original EPIC on other platforms followed by uploading shorter stories like Fenrir's Journey and others. Reading what I recommended to you, I can tell is not that useful. But I still say to diversify your platforms because your really good at extensive world‑building, dramatic power‑ups, and intricate romance arcs. On top of that you make vivid action scenes and profound character development. Although your heavy harem/romance focus can and does sometimes slow overall plot pacing. Despite it slowing down the plot, I deeply appreciate how much life it brings not only to the main character but also supporting characters. This makes there relationships feel real and natural, this also ensures that the female characters don't just fell like addons to the main character. So your a good writer and author Ein, I believe that if you upload on other it will be only a matter of time before you get your "lucky" break. You have what it takes to live off of writing. Other than spreading your work to more platforms I would say continue to work on your original works, those that you can monetize. Oh and get a Ko-fi or Buy Me a Coffee so I can tip you when you release a banger chapter, patreon is terrible for that :)

Increase the number of websites that you post on and try to appeal to furries maybe?

Have you considered writing a harem literature book on Kindle unlimited? I know there's Facebook groups and subreddits you can get involved with that help you advertise and you can upload the chapters on patreon before releasing the book on Kindle unlimited

Believe I’d seek to publish free chapters on multiple free novel hosting sites like: https://www.fanfiction.net/, https://archiveofourown.org/, https://www.scribblehub.com/, https://www.royalroad.com/home, etc. I’d also look to publish original works officially in ebook form at least on something like kindle/kindle-unlimited. Then at the end of maybe each chapter in the case of the free sites or end of books in case of ebooks, would provide links to Patreon/kindle, a blurb about other books you have or something. Patreon would remain early access to latest chapter/s to ongoing series and your latest updates, how far ahead being up to you. I wish you luck whatever you decide and what I’ve mentioned is simply how I imagine myself going about it. I imagine getting involved in groups such as the following would be helpful: https://www.reddit.com/r/haremfantasynovels

As I’m seeing a lot of other people suggest diversifying your upload locations could help tremendously, Questionable questing is where I’d suggest the most, fanficnet will probably have issues with some of your fics, but the other suggestions would also help, and I’ll be upgrading my membership to try and help also.

Post on other sites like Scribbhub, RoyalRoad, Fanfiction, and repost the first EPIC on those sites to draw in attention to your skills as an author. Maybe eventually build up enough chapters and pages to post your own original book on kindle as well, putting together what you know is popular from the things you have already written. Crafting main character, fantasy setting, world travel (either traveling to different planets or traveling dimensions), harem, and good lemons. Underdog main character with great potential is popular, his evolution influenced by some of his core aspects as influenced by those he interacts with, and his capabilities evolving as he travels to different worlds or dimensions. You write action very well, show an eventual fantasy, sci-fi, action, main character should be popular, especially with an eventual, maybe a medium sized harem or something? Plus, a decent cover page as well. A cultivation style main character could also be popular and pull in another type of audience, at least once you have a system in place. Even true immortal characters can be fun like Crimson Eternal, Azarinth Healer is very fun, The Primal Hunter is a great series, The Calamitous Bob is great, Beneath the Dragoneye Moons is fun, and A Journey of Black and Red is another great one. Martial World is a decent cultivation novel, Lord of Mysteries is immensely popular and one I mean to read in the future, but not cultivation I don’t think, Blue Phoenix is a good cultivation series, so is A Will Eternal, I Shall Seal the Heavens, and Forge of Destiny is supposed to have a unique cultivation system, but I still have to read the first book on my Kindle lol. These are just some of my suggestions of popular series so you might have some ideas. Might want to have a certain number of chapters locked behind a higher tier level, because there is nothing wrong being paid for your work. $2 for 3 chapters ahead, a easy entrance price for some extra chapters, for people that don’t want to necessarily drop too much money. $5 for five chapters ahead, another good basic price to that is accessible for many people. $10 for 15 chapters ahead, four people that really enjoy the story and want more immediately. And maybe be a final tier for $20 for something like 25 chapters ahead for people who love the story. And you could do a specialty tier at $25 for things like character, suggestions, crafting ideas, ingredient, names, and so on. And lastly, could be a premium tier at $50 where they could get an eventual site character given a name of their choosing, or some crafted weapon or item created at their suggestion as long as it is a believable or realistic suggestion.

Christian Jeffress

Oh, maybe have a PayPal link if that is allowed, somewhere where it is easy to find an access, for one time donations as well.

Christian Jeffress

Tree of Aeons by Spaizzzer and Reborn as a Demonic Tree: An Isekai LitRPG Adventure by XKarnation are two other books series that are popular, and they are about sentient trees lol. Just to give you some more ideas, and to show that even some random ideas can be very popular. The various series by V.A. Lewis and Michael Anderle could also be good examples to look up or read a little bit to give you some ideas.

As you know from stuff I have actually sent to you in private suggestions/edits, I agree with LICKnTILK. "If you were to just substitute character names and make them a tiny bit different you could make your own IP. And i dont know what you are doing to market your work to further your audience because im allready here so i cant help there but ive alway thought if you made a "clean" version of your own book and then when it was published on other websites you could market your more "Ecchi" chapters for a price here on patreon then have advanced chapters as well like i see a lot of authors do." It would ttake some work, but probabl less than writing something completely new. I know it might feel like you are bastardizing your original characters/story, but I don't really think so. You are broadening the audience. Even a classic like "Fate Stay/Night" had 15+ and 18+ versions of both the novels and other media

Gamesempie

Vahn, Sis, and Fenrir are great characters. You can use them as the core cast and make your own multiversal original story using the experience you have received from writing your fan fictions. Yes, Fenrir is based on a character from Gran Blue, but only her image. As long as you don't copy and paste a pic from them a wolfkin with fur on her forearms and legs with pads on her hands and feet isn't a copywritable image. By making it a multiversal traveling story you can go as deep or shallow into the lore of each world as you like, can try out a bunch of different ideas, and jump to a new world if you get stuck in your current one. Then try to get to publish your original work through someone like Amazon, they are offering a lot of new writer opportunities with their Kindle Unlimited plan. If you really want to milk this for money be sure to include references or hints to your previous fan fiction and once you get a deal on your original pull all your fan fics from the free sites and post them on your Patreon. Higher tiers get more chapters and more in depth research material and notes. Let people see you writing process, some people are interested in that and it makes them feel more engaged. In the author's notes at the end of each book include comments about "if you want to read my past works which inspired this story, see my writing process, or enjoy drafts of my upcoming releases please support me on my Patreon at ***" then those who want more while they wait for your next release will subscribe to your Patreon and provide a steady income. You can also occasionally post drafts of your upcoming releases to tease and keep people interested, but don't release the whole thing, you still want them to buy the book.

Ramen Suggestion: Boil noodles separately and remove from water In Bowl: 1/2 T. Japanese Mayo 1 Egg Yoke 1 t. Chili Sauce 1 t. Oyster sauce Ramen Spice Packet (Shin Black for me) Mix Add 1 cup of boiling water Add noodles Add full green onion (White & Green) Add your own toppings

I'm not very good at giving advice, so even though it's not much, I'll do my best to help out bro. I used to live off water and ramen noodles so I understand your struggle. I recommend cheap canned goods like vegetables and beans to help diversify your meals. I tend to keep a decent stock of canned food in reserve for emergencies as well since life likes throwing bricks at people and then gaslighting them.

You already have a great work ethic, quality writing, and endless stories to tell; you just need some luck, more exposure, and eventually more people will start to notice. It's actually a miracle that you don't have more supporters from eveything you've created.

UncrownedKing

A little late to the party (didn't realize my cashapp was locked) but I'll mostly parrot what others have already said. It's best to start uploading to more sites to reach a wider audience. Do keep in mind the site rules regarding NSFW material for some of them. If you don't feel like doing it yourself, you can ask someone for assistance. Other than that, you can try writing a quest as well and allow those who become patreon's voting power on what to do. It's also pretty fun to interact with readers while you're writing. I suggest fiction.live even if you don't wan to do quests specifically. Just having people around while you write can push you through rough patches. Another thing can be to start taking short commissions of maybe 1000-1500 words or offering writing advice. A big one is going to be porn. Plain and simple. People will eat that up. Start writing full smut scenes again akin to early EPIC back in danmachi and put it on patreon or just offer chapters early. As for your food situation, you'll want to learn how to cook. Simple meals and canned food will last you much longer and be far more filling than ramen. If you're only cooking for yourself, many of the things you can cook will last you a few days if you refrigerate them. That whole collage student eating ramen thing is a huge trap a lot of people in our generation fell for. You may not be able to afford the best brand stuff but great value is unironically a great value and good enough taste. If you haven't already, learn to budget. Cut out any expenses you don't absolutely need. I recently cut my Playstation plus subscription because I wasn't using it nearly as much as I probably should. Lastly, you can consider looking for a roommate to share expenses with. It's daunting if you haven't done it before but with the economy as it is now, sometimes it's a good option. Depends entirely on your situation. Hope this helps a little. You do great work

Hey Ein if need cash fast you can probably go to a staff agency to work at a place for a day or two and get the money in probably week to a few days depending on the place. Or if need it even quicker then you can use an online market research community like survey junkie( or what ever one want), to take surveys to make some petty cash somewhat quick.
