TWAB: Keep on Keepin' On (Patreon)

Yet another uneventful week, but not an unproductive one.

I've been working on the outline of a longer Beaumont comic story. I started working on the concept a while back, but it was missing interesting story beats in between. So that's what I have been focusing on over the last few days.

I have not done any game development work beyond an outline of things that need doing. I need to start dedicating time to that project, even if I need to make one day a week for game dev work - though it's far more ideal to focus on game dev over a much longer period of time.

I felt a need to produce a certain number of sketches this week so there were enough images in the thumbnails above, which is something I have to fight against in the future. The whole point of the new format is to focus on creation, not meeting arbitrary quotas.

Unrelated:

My rent will be increasing a bit soon - and it'll reach a point where my Patreon earnings will not be enough. So I'll have to be a bit careful with my finances in the future, especially as I'm unlikely to see a profound increase in earnings. At the same time, I have to make sure I fight the urge to overwork and screw myself.

Plans for next week:

I might try to start catching up on those patron requests - they've been sitting around long enough. I would like to resume progress on game development, but it's hard to know if I can easily balance that with catching up on those older sketches.

Don't forget to eat & sleep.
