Blog - Entering Q2 Soon (Patreon)

The last several weeks were pretty busy for me. Between taxes and having to take care of a bunch of other government-related things, it was pretty tiring (hence why last week was so quiet and the FemLink post so terse). Hopefully I can get a few days of actual rest.

We are entering the second quarter of 2026 -- and many of you know that's typically when I start to reflect on my career and recent changes to the "patreon experience" I have provided.

Female Link Friday

This is the final week of winter, and thus, the "Winter Wandering/Travel Series" for Female Link Friday will soon end. This image set was interesting -- and a great opportunity for learning and experimentation.

Although some of the last few images were ignored by many followers, most of the images in the set were among my best (visually & performing) artworks in a while. Thankfully there was also a good variety of works that were serious and sexy; representing the best of both worlds.

I also created a few NSFW variants & original bonuses exclusive to paying supporters. I prefer to make these weekly artworks safe-for-work so that everyone is able to see them regardless of platform, but these extra images have allowed me to draw some lewd FemLink Fridays too. These bonus images resulted in a few new patrons, but the last few weren't successful. I have complex thoughts about this, but it probably is something I should try to do occasionally.

As we move on from the winter series, we might go back to doing some simpler artworks for a bit because I feel like the high quality of these images was largely due to luck, which might go away once we start using different non-winter shapes & colours.

Beaumont Game

It's been a while since the last update because I've been so tired and busy, but I'd like to get back to game development. Perhaps my next goal can be to fix the camera system this week?

Beaumont Comic

According to a voting poll from a previous year's quarterly review, among the most requested "things" from me is a comic featuring Elayne. We've talked about the logistical difficulties of such a project, and those issues persist... But I've been thinking about it and you have been very patient since then.

As a reminder, the two biggest issues with this endeavor is:

Censorship is popular lately; Patreon & SubscribeStar are becoming stricter as payment processors exert their influence. Third-party locations, such as itch.io are still at risk too.

Most of my broader online following doesn't care about this, vastly preferring FemLinks. Thus, there is a greater "need" to prioritize FemLink Friday, which requires time & energy.

Assuming that a comic series is still the desired direction...

I may need to develop a style & format that is easy to work in. Perhaps a style that is quick & crude, but not so much that it lacks any appeal? That sounds difficult... But the biggest barrier to making comics is the stress of starting and the worry it won't be good enough. Of course, this doesn't solve the logistics of distributing or the experience of reading it, but it might be a good direction to explore in the near future.
