I thought I’d share with you some photos I took over the weekend.

Tokyo has been extremely hot, so I decided to go to a little hidden oasis in central Tokyo where you can experience nature without traveling very far.

This hidden place is called Todoroki Ravine (https://maps.app.goo.gl/rd7KbnHuRrZ67Ng1A). It’s in central Tokyo, however it feels like you’re in the mountains hours away!

Immediately when you walk in the park, the air feels cooler, and you hear the sound of rushing water. There were families playing and catching fish in the river, and others soaking their feet to cool off from the heat as well.

I spent a little time with friends, just relaxing in the park and cooling off before heading back to the extreme heat!

We also went to a dessert place not far from the park that that my friends had bookmarked and have been wanting to try. It was called PÂTISSERIE ASAKO IWAYANAGI (https://maps.app.goo.gl/BXHxw1F66P9bQcP76?g_st=ic). We ordered a gelato and some pastries and sat down at a table as we watched the trains rush by just in front of us! Everything was amazing and I’d love to go again💕
