Love you girls 💕

Macy!!!! You hated “I’m thinking of ending things?!” I really loved the book it was based on…. It was weirdly kind of life-affirming for me 😭

Derek

On behalf of Jimbo, thanks a lot bitch!

Max Jaworski

Ok I was going to write in and ask what the episode was that had the initl sagelee43 discussion because it’s been driving me crazy. I’ve listened to all the episodes over and over again !!

Tati Westbrook

nympho historian here…. It is Ep. 12, “Live from the 24th Annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show,” starting at like 33 minutes.

Branden

I will start my daily dilation routine and set my thermostat to 90° from now on thank you for the godsent advice 🫡🫡

I liked the book a lot too. I was VERY on-edge and so filled with dread - gahh! I watched the movie, but it was clearly just... Kaufman Kaufmanning. I think everyone has a weird personal experience with the book, sooo I'm not at all surprised everyone HATED his movie. Good cast though! (did Kaufman do Synecdoche NY as well?) I've read one of his other books and it didn't grab me the same way. I think they're gonna make that one into a movie too? meh mk bye!!!

Nemisa

That episode was legendary. I think it was the one that made me understand what the gals are doing with this podcast. I was sold

nymphowarsxxx

I never read the book! I thought the movie was a failure on pretty much every front though, it seemed like there was no story and the poetry of it was not profound and it was too like insular and guarded or something. But I love pretty much all of Kaufman’s other work and that may have added to the disappointment, my hopes were too high lol

nymphowarsxxx

Did you read “Antkind”? I started it and need to pick it back up

nymphowarsxxx

Last time I checked her account was suspended lol. I hope she’s okay

Bethany

Nous sommes tous Jimbo. Viva Le Jimbo

nymphowarsxxx

Oooh no please do!!! This rules thank u! 💗💗💗💗

Jamie

u dont have 2 fuck, u can suck

Tati Westbrook

No I haven’t read Antkind! I’ll certainly read it. Idk I think the book for me was a much more interesting dive into the actual concept of like the intersection of self hatred/self cringe/the desire to destroy who you are and the fact that none of that actually really matters and the fact that you just “ being there” is enough. Maybe I should rewatch the movie and reassess thinking it was okay, because maybe i watched it high off the hysteria of the book LOL

Andrew B

Stop hitting me with that big dinosaur Bone

Andrew B

Pls bring back Mary gingham!

Alex G

The soundboard missclicks were phenomenal, wonder if it can be randomized sometimes

Max Jaworski

Holy shit Ben, thank you so much. Don’t know how I missed that.

Natalie Rendleman

neuro-Allegiant, that’s the next in the series

Joe B

Just a friendly note: the phone number listed in this post is wrong 😬 Just tried calling it. Then I checked the number in a previous post and that seems to be the correct one!

Benji

But it’s such an easily remembered number! 🤓☮️❤️

Joe B

So true! It’s my fault for forgetting it! 🙃

Jamie

my only wish (this year) is for macy to include a full cover of fergie's wendy theme song as a hidden track on her next album

Zach Defense

I am uncultured and had never heard of Joan and Jericha, and now am binging the whole thing. I think this makes you two influencers.

shit ass

where is the ep where you interview people to replace macy and then the next ep is the one where the girl moves to the city and goes through the shit hole and ends up at the audition for the show. what is the ep that leads up to it i can never find it!
