[Progress] Story Illustrations 90% Complete & Atelier Minimap Finished, etc. (Patreon)
Content
It never ends… it never ends…But it’s almost there…
Here’s the progress update.
1. Basel’s Atelier Minimap Completed
I assigned numbers to the atelier map and made it displayable as a minimap. It would be much easier if the existing minimap system worked properly, though (…)
Locations where the story progresses are now marked with icons on the map.I forgot to show it in the screenshot, but you’ll also be able to see where the boss is located.
This is the map with everything unlocked.Seeing it like this makes the overall shape of the white areas much clearer.I’ll keep working hard to implement the remaining Cable Cave areas…
2. Cable Cave Map Connections Completed
Previously, the maps were not connected, but now all maps are linked and can be traversed freely.
I also placed Orca and (the foolish) Venom near the boss area entrance, where they travel between the Cable Cave entrance and exit. This allows players to return to town without needing to backtrack before challenging the boss.
3. Added NPCs to Junk City
(Why didn’t I do this sooner…?)I’ve added residents to Junk City.
They all look similar, but each has a very different personality.
They don’t say anything extremely important, but they do provide small hints, so be sure to talk to them when you visit Junk City.
4. Event Illustrations 90% Complete
Next, I’ll be drawing character standing portraits for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!This format takes an insane amount of time, so I’m really sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That aside, the event manga that appears during events is now 90% complete.
They look like they’re having an amazing time after obtaining their ideal form.
There’s a large mouth directly in front of Schrott…
If Gore Expression is turned ON, you’ll be able to see Mix’s “meal” scene after the ending, so please look forward to it.
Side note: When I was thinking about who would become Mix’s meal, I asked Mori, and he kindly agreed. Apparently he has plenty of clones, so let’s enjoy the meal.
The remaining parts will be revealed after release, so please look forward to it.
5. Announcements
Regarding post-update supportNormally, I take one month after release for bug fixes, but this time please allow me two months…
My job change and the update schedule overlapped, and I became extremely exhausted. That said, I won’t be doing nothing—I’ll use the time for job hunting and for creating things I enjoy at a manageable pace.I’m usually fine, but unemployment really hit my mental state hard…Thank you for your understanding.
Regarding the future of “Knight of Junk”I’d like to organize the situation and make an announcement.
After this update and a small sub-update, before starting the next major installment of Knight of Junk, I’d like to create a different mid-scale game.
This was suggested by others, who recommended creating a mid-scale project to get accustomed to new tools.
Since the next Knight of Junk project will be something I’ll work on for a long time and I want to properly build its systems, I’d like to create a smaller game with a few hours of content first.(In terms of my previous work, something about the size of Shusi vore.)
I’ll show it to everyone once the concept is finalized, so please look forward to it.
Final noteTo be honest, at the beginning of February my mental state declined significantly, and there were times when I felt visibly depressed. However, thanks to everyone continuously sending encouraging comments, I was able to push forward and bring the update to the brink of completion.
I’m still inexperienced as a creator, but I will continue making games that stimulate your fetishes, so I appreciate your continued support.
