Hello dear Supporters,

a new video about my new early game spaceship 'Asteroid Gambit' just dropped, slightly larger than my popular 'Boxcar' design but with more storage space and faster ammo crafting.I also explain briefly why there haven't been that many videos in 2026 so far.

I hope you like the new ship for your early game.More video are on the way and the upload schedule will hopefully get back to normal.

Question is: do I want to continue the 'Somewhere in Time' run or start something new? I always struggle to get back into older saves when - for whatever reason - I stopped playing for a while. In general I'm satisfied with my Rebalance mod so maybe it would be wise to play it using harder settings like Deser Deathworld Marathon or something similar.

Your opinion?

Thanks for your support!

I Improved My Most Popular Early Game Spaceship!

FACTORIO - SPACE AGE Asteroid Gambit, an early game spaceship and powerful upgrade to the popular "Boxcar" design that tackles storage and ammo restocking issues with more cargo bays and faster production. This new build features smart circuit logic for thruster throttling and an efficient "sushi belt" filtering system to manage asteroids without cluttering the hub. Whether you need the standard 472-tile model or the expanded MK2 version, you can find the blueprints linked below and on Patreon! i will watch any factorio thing you put out. your rebalance mod is cool. im less interested in watching biter management than factory building, but you balance all that well with your edits. your challenge runs have been good because you see the depth if what thing matter earlier that can really affect you later. anyways, i look forward to your content. if you enjoy the version you play, then i enjoy watching it 😁

Interesting seeing the new updates on the small ship design. And if I can share something I mess around with on mine, I use a constant and decider combinator to enable the collectors to hold up to 13 (1/3 of normal quality inventory) of each chunk type to take advantage of an internal storage buffer, too.I know it's been mentioned a lot in the youtube comments but thought I'd include it here that the AI thumbnail is really offputting, personally. You're a very creative guy and your videos are a lot of fun, but if that becomes a regular thing I don't think I'd want to continue to support you.

You are one of the best source of Factorio stuff and I enjoy very much the content, I always learn something new, even after 1000+ hours in the game. Whatever you do in Factorio will suit me. A new start will be more "interesting" I think, older stuff needs some rest at a certain point IMHO. Keep on rolling Avadii ! And let's have a thought for Katherine who was a star in the gaming community and now in her sky.

Hey Avadii!! I hope you are doing okay. I just wanted to let you know, genuinely I think you are an incredibly talented orator and teacher. There's a lot of passion in the factorio content creation space and I think that is valuable, but you're by far the best teacher. Keep up the good work, I'm excited to see what you make next.

As always, I like your space ship blueprints! There elegant and efficient. And much beter then I ever will be able to design. So thank you for having an other option to pick from ;) I generally enjoy your content and playthroughs, so for me what ever keeps you happy and motivated. But I wouldn't mind if you continue or reboot your Avadii rebalance mods :)

The Aquilo variant blueprints can't be imported to a 2.1.14 Factorio game, it says: Unknown recipe name: molten-iron. Did the name change between versions (doubt it as it's not VUBE-like)?

AVADII

You can import it, but after the message appears the blueprint is missing the foundry crafting molten iron. And yeah, it seems like Wube changed the internal name. I won't change it for now since 2.0 is still the current stable release and i guess changing it will break it for 2.0 users.
