Chapter 133 Who's-Who

Ryugu Castle.

The lounge was paved with smooth pearl floor tiles, bathed in warm yellow light from coral-carved chandeliers. Several seashell sofas were casually arranged, while glowing tropical fish swam in the aquarium in the corner.

As Enel's group entered, they saw Bahr lounging on a sofa, swinging his legs.

Miss Valentine was about to walk over and sit beside him when hurried footsteps sounded behind her.

Sadi, clicking in her stilettos, cut in front and slid into the empty seat next to Bahr with a sway of her waist. Her crimson nails deliberately traced an arc on the sofa armrest.

Miss Valentine froze mid-step, her grip tightening on her green parasol as she watched Sadi's overly familiar behavior, irritation flashing in her eyes.

This woman was becoming increasingly presumptuous.

Sadi paid her no mind, leaning closer to Bahr with a sickly sweet voice, "Mmm~ Master, when will you reward me?"

Bahr glanced at her, lips curling, "Patience. We'll talk later."

"Okay~" Sadi immediately beamed, licking her lips. The screams of pirates at the harbor replayed in her mind, yet no sound thrilled her more than the prospect of her master's rewards.

"Why'd you call us here?" Enel plopped onto the opposite sofa, his tone impatient.

"To introduce a new ally." Bahr straightened, gesturing to Jimbei beside him. "Jimbei the Knight of the Sea is now part of the Cross Guild."

"Jimbei?" Mr. 1's hand paused on his sword hilt, eyes sharpening. "That Seven Warlord of the Sea?"

"A Warlord joining the Cross Guild? Unexpected indeed." Nico Robin looked up, surprise flickering in her gaze.

Perona floated mid-air clutching her ghost plush, clicking her tongue. "Even a Warlord? Boss, you're amazing!"

"I look forward to working with you all." Jimbei nodded solemnly.

"Warlord or not," Enel's fingers crackled with electricity, "hold us back and even gods won't save you."

"I understand." Jimbei responded evenly, unfazed by the threat but noting the electric youth's strength—this was the man who'd fought Crocodile on the battlefield.

"Alright, we're all allies here..." Bahr waved dismissively, briefly explaining the Fish-Man Island collaboration. His brow furrowed as he noticed a red figure at the doorway. "And that is?"

"Showed up at the harbor himself, wanting to join." Enel's fingertips sparked idly.

The red figure strode forward—pink hair gleaming oddly under the lights, a crimson horned helmet accentuating his sharp features. Silver earrings swayed with each step, while an eye-shaped tattoo glistened on his sweat-dampened chest.

Who's-Who!

The helmet, pink hair, earrings, eye tattoo... Memory fragments clicked—this was the future Flying Six leader of the Beast Pirates, the man Jimbei would defeat in Wano.

Standing before Bahr, barely containing his excitement yet forcing reverence into his tone, he declared, "Lord Bahr, I am Who's-Who."

"Why do you want to join the Cross Guild?" Bahr cut straight to the point.

Who's-Who's eyes burned with years of suppressed rage and resentment, yet he maintained his composure. "You accomplished what I failed to do. Please allow me to follow you."

"Oh?" Bahr raised an eyebrow.

"It's about the Straw Hat Boy Luffy's Gum-Gum Fruit," Who's-Who said solemnly. "That was the very fruit I was tasked with escorting back then."

"The Gum-Gum Fruit?" Nico Robin's tone carried skepticism. "That doesn't seem like something worth the World Government mobilizing such forces to protect."

Bahr glanced at Robin—this woman was always sharp, immediately grasping the crux of the matter.

"Boss, do you know something?" Robin caught Bahr's gaze, her eyelids flickering slightly as she probed.

Bahr considered for a moment before replying casually, "The Gum-Gum Fruit is just a cover the World Government used to hide the truth. In reality, it's the Human-Human Fruit, Mythical Type, Nika Model."

"What?!"

The room erupted in shock. The most visibly affected was Enel, whose body crackled with electricity as his hair stood on end. "What the hell is that?"

"I heard about it during my imprisonment," Who's-Who said, taking a deep breath, his voice tinged with agitation. "While enduring torture, the jailers mocked me, ordering me to pray to Sun God Nika."

"Legend has it that long ago, slaves believed a warrior named Nika would one day descend. He would bring laughter and liberate them from suffering. Not long after that guard mentioned Nika to me, he was silenced."

"The World Government fears Nika," Bahr remarked offhandedly. "After all, they're the biggest slavers. Nika is their natural enemy."

"So that's how it is..." Jimbei murmured, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. "Luffy-kun, he..."

"So you're saying I lost because of that damn Nika Fruit?" Enel scowled, his face darkening. "How could my lightning have no effect on him?"

"While the Nika Fruit shares rubber-like properties, its essence is entirely different," Bahr said calmly but firmly, locking eyes with Enel. "If it were just an ordinary Gum-Gum Fruit, even if rubber conducts electricity, your lightning should have generated enough heat to melt steel. There's no way it wouldn't have even scratched him."

Two hundred million volts—what kind of concept was that? Any ordinary Devil Fruit user struck by it would have been reduced to charcoal. Yet the Straw Hat Boy completely evaded it. That was something no ordinary Gum-Gum Fruit could achieve.

Enel's expression grew increasingly stormy, his silver hair trembling with fury. "So that brat only won because of this bullshit fruit?"

"Not entirely," Bahr countered with a raised brow. "No matter how strong the fruit, it depends on the user. In someone else's hands, the Nika Fruit's resilience might not have been fully realized. Still, your loss wasn't unjust—after all, it's a legendary power even the World Government went to great lengths to conceal."

The words struck Enel's pride like a needle. His fists clenched, electricity crackling violently around him, fissures spiderwebbing across the coral tiles beneath his feet. "When I see that brat again, I'll make sure he learns the true might of a god!"

Jimbei listened thoughtfully on the side. No wonder Luffy had been able to create miracles repeatedly during the Summit War—his Devil Fruit hid such secrets.

Nico Robin gazed at Bahr, thinking to herself that this man indeed knew much. She had seen the Historical Text in the Sea Forest—it was a letter of repentance, exactly as Bahr had described, not the portion of history she was searching for.

After a moment of silence, Robin suddenly spoke, "By the way, you mentioned earlier about lending the Cross Guild's flag to Fish-Man Island, but it seems we don't actually have a flag yet."

Bahr paused. His decision to establish the Cross Guild had been impulsive, and he truly hadn't made the necessary preparations—though it wasn't a major issue.

"Nico Robin, I'll leave the flag design to you. Show it to me when it's ready."

Just then, the Left Minister of Ryugu Castle hurried over and bowed. "Lord Bahr, everyone, the banquet is ready. Please follow me to the banquet hall."

Bahr nodded. "Understood." He motioned to the group. "Let's go. We can talk while we eat."

The group followed the minister toward the banquet hall. As they passed through the coral corridor, Bahr suddenly caught sight of a massive axe hurtling through the air overhead, flying deep into the Dragon Palace.

His eyes narrowed slightly as he murmured, "That's...?"
