It was a late Friday night, Kaleel was finishing up her patrol downtown, driving her police cruiser around the blocks as per usual. There was very little activity in the neighborhood at this time of night, all the more reason to patrol to keep it that way. With her shift almost over, she would be home free in just a few minutes. Kaleel’s height was pretty average for woman her age, and she always wore her goldish brown hair back so it wouldn’t get in her eyes while on duty. Even though she had been working in law enforcement for years, she looked more like a model in police attire.

Though she had plenty of coffee to keep herself awake, he was still getting very late, and the policewoman just wanted to go home and lay down on her couch, maybe scroll some tik-toks before heading to bed. Just as she was turning down the next block, she heard a woman's terrified scream echo throughout the block. This was enough to wake her up completely as her training kicked in, opening her eyes wide open just in time to catch a glimpse of something bright and red shining in her cruiser headlights, peeking just behind one of the buildings. Before she could get a good look, it disappeared into one of the alleyways, as yet another shriek could be heard directly from that direction. Immediately beeping her siren, Kaleel called in for backup before jumping out of the vehicle and heading directly toward the alleyway.

The police officer knew that would be risky on her own, but now wasn't the time to wait for backup. “Help!” the screaming voice called out, echoing between the two tall neighboring buildings as Kaleel finally entered the alley. The officer stepped in just in time to see the rounded, shadowy, silhouette disappearing behind the corner as yet another cry for help echoed throughout the alley, sounding just as panicked as before, along with the rattling of offense. Finally running past the corner, she pulled out her gun. But before she could shout freeze, she was met face-to-face with a large red, shiny orb floating towards a young woman who was attempting to scale the fence blocking her out of the alley.

In her panic, the woman kept slipping and fumbling about the fence as her shoes clattered to the ground, looking back as she saw the police officer, still wide-eyed and dumbfounded with her gun pointed directly at the orb. “H-Help! shoot it!” the woman shrieked, the ball now looming only inches away from her. Without a moment of hesitation, the policewoman fired her weapon at the ball. But on contact, the ball simply indented, the bullet sinking into its surface like it was a ball of dough. The policewoman gasped right as the ball bounced back to its original shape, flinging the bullet directly back at her as it collided with her firearm, knocking the gun out of her hand.

“AH!” Kaleel stumbled as the gun shattered in her hands, the pieces clattering to the ground as she held her hands to her stomach. Though fortunately not injured, her hands stung from the force of the impact.  turning her attention back to the ball, it appeared to wobble and jiggle in the air as it became Stationary, no longer pursuing the civilian who took the opportunity to finally scale the fence, hopping over it as she ran to safety. Putting her flashlight back toward the orb, she could now get a better look at what she was dealing with,  a large crimson seamless balloon. At least that's what it appeared to be, as her firearm didn't even damage its surface, it should have popped or torn it open at the very least.

Whenever it was, it was now floating in her direction. Unamused, the officer took out her baton, though wary of the rubber sphere as she took a couple of steps back. The orb then slowly picked up speed as she backed away getting closer and closer until it was face to face with her. Swinging her baton at the balloon, Kaleel tried to smack it away to put some distance between them, but her stick only sank into its surface with a loud creak. Just like with the bullet, it completely absorbed the impact and didn't budge an inch. Just as she was about to take another swing at the balloon, the baton suddenly sank deeper into the surface, the rubber surface squeaking loudly as began to twist and pull around the weapon. Before the rubber could pull around her hand she quickly let go of the baton, watching in shock as the balloon continued to swallow it up. Just like that, the baton disappeared into the rubber completely, as the balloon swiftly sprung back to its perfectly rounded shape.

Kaleel stumbled back in shock and horror, it was like the balloon had just eaten her weapon. Just as she was about to run away, she lost her balance and tripped on a crack in the concrete. At that moment, the balloon shoved itself onto her, catching her mid-fall as it pulled her into its surface. “HUMPH!” the officer huffed as she felt the inflatable rubber wrap around her sides, pinning her arms beside her in a tight squeeze as she was swiftly lifted up into the air. Kaleel let out a panicked gasp as she kicked and wiggled within its grasp, her heart jumping in her chest as she could feel the rubber begin to pull her in. Despite her panic, she had to bite her lip as the rubber squeezed around her breasts, feeling as if the rubber was pulling her into a loving hug as it continued to envelop her.

Just like with her baton, the surface was contorting underneath her, almost as if creating a vacuum to suck her in. Hyperventilating, she huffed and groaned as she thrashed and twisted her body, trying to pull herself free from the balloon’s embrace. The balloon merely bobbed and bounced in the air with her struggles, not even budging an inch as the sound of rubber squeaks echoed throughout the alley. The officer only sank further into its hold, squeezing her even tighter as the surface folded behind her back, nearly enveloping her entire torso. With the inflatable now pressing up against the side of her face, she could only twist her head away as the rubber continued to enfold around her. “HEL-MMH!!!” Before she could call for help, the balloon gave her another swift squeeze, pulling her further into its rubber hold as she was smothered within its folds. All that could be seen were her legs kicking beneath the enticing folds of the crimson inflatable.

“MMPH! MMMMHP!!!” the officer screamed into the balloon, twisting and turning her head in desperation for a breath of air, only to inhale the smothering scent of the inflatable rubber from every angle. The orb had now enveloped her entire body from the knees up, and she was now only seconds away from being swallowed completely. Kaleel's wiggles began to slow to a crawl as she was squeezed tighter and tighter, increasing its constricting hug on her as she began to feel dizzy and lightheaded. The balloon’s hug was strangely intimate, squeezing around her body from every conceivable angle, even invasively wedging into her more intimate places. That was the last straw, the blushing cop groaning as she struggled to reach her belt with her bound hand. “I'm a police officer, I'm not going to be done in by a freaking balloon.” she thought to herself.

With a quick burst of Adrenaline, the woman managed to wedge her hand down far enough to reach her taser, wrapping her fingers around the tool as she prepared herself for what was to come. The balloon had now slurped her up to her ankles, with only her feet sticking out as it was about to engulf her completely. Suddenly, the balloon began to shake, pulse, and quiver, jolting in the air as if it were being shaken from the inside. After a few moments, the balloon suddenly puffed up, releasing its hold on Kaleel as she was flung out of its grasp tumbling onto the concrete ground as she quickly caught herself mid-roll.   Breathing heavily and taking in some much-needed oxygen, she looked up to the balloon which continued to shake and wiggle. Fortunately, it seemed the balloon had taken the worst of the shock, leaving her unharmed as she scrambled back to her feet and began to retreat.

Still recovering from the tight squeeze a balloon had forced onto her, she found herself stumbling as she turned a quarter of the alleyway, running for her police vehicle While doing your best not to trip again. That's when she heard a loud squeak from behind her, the balloon once again giving chase as it clumsily wobbled and swayed in its pursuit. With a gasp, she redoubled her efforts and ran toward the end of the alley toward The shining headlights of her police vehicle. To her relief she could hear the sound of blaring police sirens from blocks away, backup was on the way.  on top of that, you could see someone turning the corner of the alley, their silhouette hidden by the bright headlights of her cruiser.

“Get back!” she shouted, still out of breath as struggled not to trip. “There’s a…” she paused her eyes shot open, watching as the silhouette began approaching… no, hopping towards her. It was only when her eyes adjusted to the light that she realized that it wasn't a human shape, tall… hips wide and puffy… proportions large and cartoonish… It was only at the last moment that she realized what she was looking at, squeaking with every bounce as it approached her. A large shiny inflatable kangaroo, with light brown latex and a pastel pink underbelly, shaped like a cartoony mascot with its arms outstretched toward her. Before she could stop, the kangaroo hopped into the air, putting its haunches directly on top of the officer and shoving her to the ground.
