coronal hole streams becoming more and more frequent as we approach solar maximum. Mixing with an incredibly dense particle matrix should wreak havoc upon the magnetosphere. Most of the energy being measure has to come from the excess electrons we have been tracking for years. Helium interactions are also energetic.
