What's Next: 2D, Hair, Accessories & Itch Bundle (Patreon)

Heya Patrons!  We'd love to share a bit of news about Holodexxx, and what's coming down the pipes :)

2D Experience Upgrade

We have been busy at work knocking out the last major issues for EP2, and focusing heavily on our 2D implementation for Holodexxx Home. Holodexxx was made for, and excels in VR, but our 2D implementation needed some serious love. We are currently pouring love all over EP2 -- that sounds a bit wrong.   We'll push an update on Itch with the 2D interactions, and a bunch more fixes/improvements for the VR experience next week.  

Photo Realistic Hair

Hair is one asset that is difficult to create on your own. It requires a vast knowledge of how hair works in real life, and it's technical logic is difficult to master. We have been working with a production house to create our first photo-real hairstyle, that we will be able to modify for our own purposes. 

The production wasn't easy, or cheap; but you'll discover that it was well worth the investment for Holodexxx. We're stoked to get this out to our Patrons, but it's still got a far way to go before it is engine ready. 

Accessories

Not much to say about accessories beyond to say that they are coming, and they are fun. Feel free to let us know what kind of accessories that you would like to see in Holodexxx :)

Itch Bundle

We have been included in an adult bundle on Itch.io! The creators involved are all pushing the adult content envelope on the open marketplace, and it's important for Holodexxx that we support any of those efforts. Normalizing adult content is an important mission for Holodexxx, and amplifying the voice of other adult creators is one way that we can do that. If you're interested in checking out some other adult content creators, please check out the bundle :)As always, thank you for your support. Thanks for making this a (virtual) reality! It means a lot to us out here . Some of us are alone. But you are helping us to avoid feeling lonely. Shocking news alert. A beautiful girl is a nice thing to see for most of us. A 3d interactive one is amazing. Most of the time it's the friendliest thing we see all day. How is that a bad thing eh? You are awesome people and should be proud of what you are doing to help others feel better. I am an ex player, and I'm privileged to have had my share of female company, but many others have not. I feel the comfort of this VR experience, and I'm sure many others do. Keep up the good work people, I wish you every success. I am upping my Patreon to $10 to make it that little bit more achievable! Many many thanks.

Looks great! But in my opinion, new scenes are much more important than more realistic hair, since the game only has 2 actual scenes yet. Or am i wrong?

Luckily it's not a choice we have to make :) The hair solution has to be largely outsourced, leaving our team to continue working on new content

Index/Vive Tracker support woud be great for connecting the models to a Fleshlight. Hair looks good. Hope you're not going to allocate too much time for 2D.

We have to allocate enough time to make it fun. In terms of man-hours, it really doesn't take much time to set up cameras, and include UI elements for 2D players. The Index tracker is a great idea, our only worry is that it will fracture our Player base

Oh we are quite aware :D We had something working the past, and it made sense even though it was on a normal vive controller. If anything, we'd rather go that route just so people don't have to buy another accessory

Same difference. The tracker is basically a Vive controller without handle and buttons. And I guess most RiftS/Quest users would gladly sacrifice one hand (Touch controller ;-) ) to strap it onto a FL or whatever, so no playerbase fracturing I guess. The Vive/Index tracker would be just more convenient in comparison, but would work the same. Please keep working on it :-D

Would like to see option to turn tattoos off,some porn stars are getting way to many now days.I want to see their body not somebody's art work.
