Well well well, look who decided to show up ;)

First and foremost, thank you for your incredible patience, and support. We appreciate you sticking by us through the long months of much needed development, and hope you feel rewarded by what we have been working on in stealth mode.

So where the hell have we been?

We made the tough decision to take a hard look at what we were building, and how feasible it was from a technical and financial point of view. It turns out, our previous direction wasn’t sustainable, at all, and we needed to make big changes or face a bleak future. After a period of facing harsh realities, and considerable research and design, we began building a new Holodexxx, to be future forward, and sustainable.

What are the biggest changes to the project?

After an exhaustive search we have found some key talent for the project – a world class technical artist, and an Unreal designer hungry to make adult content. Due to your continued support, we were able to bring these developers on full time, and boy have they been busy.

Holodexxx is now being built in Unreal 5. Instead of wallowing in an aging engine. We knew we’d have to bite this bullet in order to build something lasting.

Thanks to this pivot, we are now taking full advantage of UE5’s new features -- the lumen lighting system, nanite scalable textures, and the incredible MetaHuman system that will allow Holodexxx to grow well into the future. Basing our Holodexxx models on the Metahuman standard allows us to take advantage of the continued advancements of that system and to create clothing/hair/animation assets that can span across our entire collection of adult models. Standardization of our models is the key for Holodexxx to thrive as an experience – a lesson we have learned the hard way.

Speaking of models, we have spent months redeveloping our model creation process, and developed the custom tools and techniques needed to quickly create models for our next experiences.

It took two months to develop our first model (Riley Reid) with our new Metahuman based rig. Mia Malkova took a little over a month to develop, and our next model – Marley Brinx is on track to be complete after just two weeks of dev time. I hope you can see the trend here :)New strand based hair rigs, and clothing are also created as needed; but since they are now interchangeable it offers us a huge level of flexibility in the future.

On to the fun part.

We have also generated some 360 videos of our test UE5 experiences that look fucking fantastic. Those experiences can theoretically run on VERY high end PC’s in VR, but performance was never our top priority with these tests. The 360 videos we generated will get you 90% of the way there without lighting your PC on fire. We will figure out an accessible way to share those soon.
