Everyone in this story is 18+

The Big House — Michigan Stadium — is loud with the graduation ceremony. Four years have slipped by faster than any of us expected. Grayson walks across the stage in his cap and gown, diploma in hand, that same cocky grin flashing when he spots our little cluster in the stands. Jake is right behind him, tall and broad-shouldered, looking every bit the pro prospect he’s become.

I’m sitting between Mason and Emily. Mason sits on Lily’s other side—Grayson’s younger siblings are now fourteen and ten respectively. They’ve been bickering nonstop since we sat down.

“Stop hitting me!” Mason hisses. “I’m just nudging you, loser,” Lily fires back, elbowing him.

I lean over and murmur, “Both of you behave or I’m telling your mom you started it.” They settle for about thirty seconds before Mason flicks Lily’s ear and the cycle restarts.

Emily, my ex-wife, has her new husband Mark, by her side, a quiet finance guy who seems decent enough. Next to her is Emily’s sister Anna (Grayson’s mom), and beside Anna is Christian, Grayson’s dad. The whole blended family is here, and somehow it works. Anna catches my eye during the applause and leans over with a smirk.

“Still can’t get rid of you, huh, Chris?”

I laugh under my breath. “Apparently not. You’re stuck with me for life.”

Emily chimes in, squeezing my arm lightly. “Family is family. Even the exes.”

Christian just shakes his head, smiling. “As long as you keep spoiling the kids with hockey tickets, you’re welcome anywhere.”

Thousands of voices echo off the concrete tiers, caps flying into the air, cameras flashing, the marching band still blasting fight songs even after the ceremony ends.

We all spill out onto the lawn for photos. Grayson and Jake find us quickly. They hug—tight, brotherly, full of years of shared ice time and dorm chaos—but there’s no kiss. Jake’s eyes keep drifting to the tall, dark-haired guy waiting a few feet away.

Tad. Another hockey player, forward on the same team, built like a brick wall with an easy smile. It’s been obvious for a few months now that Jake has moved on, and Grayson seems genuinely happy for him.

Grayson spots me and breaks into a huge grin, pulling me into a hug that lifts me slightly off the ground.

“Congrats, kid,” I say against his shoulder. “You did it.”

“I did,” he replies, voice low enough only I hear. He steps back, eyes bright. “Ready to party tonight?”

“Of course.”

Grayson’s eyebrows lift. “Perfect.”

The graduation party is at a sleek rooftop venue overlooking the Huron River—string lights, open bar, passed apps, a DJ playing everything from old hockey anthems to current hits. The whole crew shows up: Emily and Mark, Anna and Christian, Mason and Lily (still arguing over who gets the last slider), even a few of Grayson’s teammates. Jake arrives with Tad, the two of them easy and affectionate in a way that feels natural now. Tad shakes my hand firmly.

The night flows—laughter, toasts, stories about freshman-year disasters and Frozen Four heroics. Mason and Lily finally tire themselves out chasing each other around the dance floor. Emily pulls me aside at one point, wine glass in hand.

“You look happy, Chris. Really happy. Have you met someone?”

“I am happy, but still single,” I tell her.

Later in the evening, after the cake had been cut and most of the family photos were done, Grayson and Jake found a quieter corner near the railing overlooking the Huron River. They stood shoulder to shoulder, beers in hand, the string lights casting a warm glow over them.

Jake bumped his shoulder against Grayson’s. “I’m really psyched for you, man. Stockholm. Your dream since freshman year. You’re actually doing it.”

Grayson grinned, eyes bright. “Couldn’t have without you pushing me every single day on the ice. And you… getting drafted with Tad? That’s insane. You two are gonna tear it up in the NHL. I’m so fucking happy for you.”

Jake laughed softly, glancing over at Tad who was chatting with some of the teammates across the rooftop. “Yeah, it still doesn’t feel real. But Sweden’s gonna be sick for you. I know how bad you wanted it.”

Grayson nodded, taking a sip of his beer. “I had an offer from London too. Hockey’s blown up there the last four years — bigger crowds, better facilities — but it’s still not Sweden. Not even close. The passion, the culture… it’s just different.”

Jake raised his bottle. “To chasing the dream, then.”

Grayson clinked his bottle against Jake’s. “To both of us finally getting what we wanted.”

They stood there a moment longer, the noise of the party humming behind them, two best friends who had grown up together on Michigan ice now heading in different directions — both exactly where they were meant to go.

Grayson stayed until almost midnight, then slapped my back. “I’m heading out with the boys for one last campus blowout. Don’t wait up.”

“Go have fun. You earned it.”

He disappeared into the night with a group of teammates, laughter trailing behind him.

I head back to the hotel suite the family booked for the weekend—quiet now after the chaos. I kick off my shoes, loosen my tie, and pour myself a glass of water from the mini-fridge. The city lights sparkle outside the window.

Four years. A lot has changed. Nate and I stayed friendly—occasional texts, the odd beer when our schedules aligned. Rowan is thriving at his last year in Michigan, out and proud, still seeing that transfer guy (Tyler) and talking about making it pro someday. I’ve built the London branch into something solid, traveling more than ever but always coming home.

My phone buzzes on the nightstand.

I pick it up. The text is from Grayson.

“I can’t stop thinking about you.”

I stare at the screen, thumb hovering. The suite feels suddenly warmer, the city lights brighter.

The message sits there, simple and loaded, waiting for whatever comes next.

A soft knock sounded on the suite door maybe twenty minutes after Grayson’s text. I opened it to find him standing there still in his button-down from the party, tie loosened, hair slightly messy from the night air, as sexy as always. His eyes met mine, dark and certain.

“I couldn’t stay away,” he said simply, stepping inside before I could answer.

The door clicked shut behind him. For a second we just looked at each other — four years of history, complications, and unspoken feelings hanging between us like static. Then he closed the distance, hands sliding up my chest to cup my face, and kissed me.

It started deep and hungry, mouths moving together with slow, thorough pressure, tongues sliding and tasting. We kept our eyes open at first, gazes locked even as the kiss grew wetter, more urgent.

His fingers worked the buttons of my shirt open one by one while mine did the same to his, fabric whispering apart until both shirts dropped to the carpet. Bare chests pressed together, warm skin on warm skin, the faint scrape of stubble against my jaw as he kissed along my neck and back to my mouth again.

We shed the rest of our clothes without breaking contact — belts unbuckled, zippers eased down, pants and underwear pushed away until nothing remained between us. Grayson’s body was all lean hockey muscle, shoulders broad from years on the ice, abs tight and defined, thighs thick and powerful. I ran my palms over every inch, feeling the way his skin heated under my touch, the way his breath caught when my thumbs brushed his nipples.

He guided me backward to the bed, never breaking the kiss, and we tumbled down together onto the cool sheets. His mouth left mine only to trail lower — across my collarbone, down the center of my chest, over the ridges of my stomach. When he reached my hardness he looked up, eyes meeting mine again as his lips parted and enveloped the swollen head.

The wet heat enveloped the head completely, tongue swirling firm circles along the sensitive underside, while he took the whole thing deeper, cheeks hollowing with each slow draw. He held my gaze the entire time, even as spit glistened on his chin and my shaft disappeared further into the tight warmth of his throat.

I threaded my fingers through his hair, not guiding, just feeling the rhythm of him working me. The sensations built in waves — the glide of his tongue, the gentle suction, the way his throat fluttered around the thickest part of me. After several long minutes I pulled him up gently, kissing him deeply so I could taste myself on his tongue, then rolled us so I was above him.

My turn. I kissed down his body the same way, savoring the salt of his skin, the way his abs flexed under my mouth, the soft hitch in his breathing when I licked along the crease where his thigh met his hip.

His large shaft stood thick and flushed, curving slightly upward. I wrapped my lips around the head, taking him in as deep as I could. I sucked slow and steady, tongue circling the sensitive tip while my eyes lifted to find his watching me with dark, heavy-lidded intensity.

Grayson’s breath hitched, his chest rising faster as I hollowed my cheeks and slid further down his length.

The thick vein along the underside throbbed against my tongue with every slow pull. Spit pooled at the corners of my mouth and dripped down his shaft in shiny trails as I worked him deeper. I held him there for a long moment, throat fluttering around the heavy girth, before drawing back with a wet sound, strings of spit still connecting my lips to his glistening cock.

I didn’t give him time to recover. I licked a long, flat stripe from balls to tip, then took him in again, bobbing with steady rhythm while my hand stroked what my mouth couldn’t reach. Grayson’s fingers tightened in my hair, not pushing, just holding on as his hips gave tiny, helpless rolls. All the while our eyes stayed locked — his gaze burning into mine with raw need and something much softer underneath.

After several long minutes he gently tugged me upward. I crawled back up his body and we kissed deeply, tongues sliding together so he could taste himself on me. His hands roamed my back and ass, squeezing the firm muscle as we rolled again, this time with me on my back and him hovering above.

Grayson reached for the small bottle of lube on the nightstand, coating his fingers generously while never breaking eye contact. He kissed me slow and thorough as two fingers circled my tight ring, teasing the sensitive skin until it softened under his touch. When he finally pressed the first finger inside, the stretch was immediate and burning-sweet, my inner walls gripping the intrusion. He worked it in and out with careful patience, adding a second finger soon after, opening me gradually as he curled them just right to brush that sensitive spot inside.

The fullness made my thighs tremble and my breathing turn ragged. Grayson kept kissing me through every moment — soft, lingering kisses that turned deeper whenever his fingers stroked that perfect place, sending waves of sharp pleasure racing up my spine. I could feel every slow twist and thrust of his fingers, the wet sounds growing louder as he stretched me wider, preparing me for more.

“You feel so good,” he whispered against my lips, eyes never leaving mine. “I’ve wanted this again for so long.”

I answered by pulling him into another deep kiss, my hands clutching his shoulders as his fingers continued their steady work, loosening me until I was panting and rocking down onto his hand, silently begging for more.

When I was ready, I slicked his thickness thoroughly with lube, then straddled his hips. I positioned the head against my opening and sank down slowly, feeling every inch stretch me wide open. The burn was intense at first, then melted into a deep, satisfying fullness as I took him all the way inside until my ass rested flush against his hips. We both exhaled shakily, foreheads pressed together, eyes locked in the dim light.

I started to move — rolling my hips in long, steady circles at first, then rising and sinking with more purpose. The wet slap of skin meeting skin filled the suite as I rode him harder, taking him deep with every downward motion. Grayson’s hands gripped my waist, guiding me while his gaze stayed fixed on my face, watching every expression of pleasure that crossed it.

The pace turned faster, more urgent. I leaned forward, bracing my hands on his chest, riding him with deep, grinding rolls that dragged him across that perfect spot inside me over and over. Sweat slicked our bodies, making every slide of skin feel even more intense. We kept kissing through it all — messy, open-mouthed, desperate kisses broken only by gasps for air and whispered words.

“I only want you,” I breathed against his mouth between kisses, riding him harder now. “It’s always been you, Gray. You’re the one who woke this side of me. All the mess, all the years… it led here. Just us.”

He kissed me fiercely, tongue sliding deep as he thrust up to meet every downward stroke. “I feel the same,” he gasped when we broke apart for air, eyes shining with emotion.

Pleasure built sharp and overwhelming between us. My thighs burned from the effort, but I couldn’t stop, couldn’t slow down. Grayson’s thrusts grew erratic beneath me, his hands tightening on my hips as he drove up harder. I clenched around his thickness, the pressure inside me cresting until I came across his stomach and chest in thick, rhythmic waves. The sight and feel of it pushed him over right after — he buried himself as deep as possible, body arching beneath me as he filled me with pulse after heavy pulse of warmth that leaked out around his shaft with every final rock of our hips.

We stayed joined for a long time afterward, breathing together, foreheads still touching, eyes half-lidded but never fully closed. I finally eased off him carefully, feeling the slow, warm trickle of his load leak from me as I settled beside him on the rumpled sheets. Grayson immediately pulled me close, one arm sliding under my neck, the other draping heavy across my waist so our bodies stayed pressed together, skin sticky and slick with sweat and cum.

The city lights glowed softly through the windows, painting faint silver patterns across our chests. For several quiet minutes we simply lay there, tracing lazy lines over each other’s arms and sides, the only sounds our slowing breaths and the low hum of the air conditioning.

Grayson shifted slightly so he could look at me properly, his fingers gently brushing a strand of damp hair from my forehead.

His voice came out quiet and warm against my lips “I’ll always love Jake like a brother… but I’ve been in love with you since that first trip to my college. I want us. Just you and me. No one else.”

I searched his eyes for a long moment, heart swelling in my chest, then leaned in to kiss him slowly, tasting the salt of sweat on his upper lip. When I pulled back just enough to speak, my voice was rough but certain.

“It’s always been you, Gray. You’re the one who woke this side of me. All the mess, all the years… it led here.”

I smiled, tracing a finger along his jaw. “Four years ago in a hotel just like this one. Then London. The divorces. All the messiness. Those ridiculous nights where we laughed so hard over my cum fart we couldn’t breathe… and now it’s just us.”

Grayson’s eyes softened, a small laugh escaping him at the memory. “Yeah. Just us.” He leaned in, kissing me slowly and tenderly.

We stayed tangled together under the sheets for a long while longer, trading lazy kisses and quiet words, legs intertwined, his hand resting possessively over my heart. The future felt wide open for the first time in years, and for once, it didn’t scare me.

But one’s going to live in Sweden and one lives in London. Yah, that aught to work real well
