These were all Diablo 4 trailers if I remember correctly, Diablo 3 trailers also stand up to time as well and to me honestly have better story implication. If you want to see a huge lore dump of the Diablo universe, watch all the book of lorath parts and they'll give you all the big pictures items and universal lore of the story for Diablo 1 through 3.

Thanks so much for reacting to these! First Diablo is an ARPG (Action rpg) / hack and slash style game. There is a storyline for each game and you basically kill a lot of demons. And there can be in game cutscenes/cinematics (like the Inarius vs Lilith one). There is a ton of Diablo lore and it's pretty interesting. I'll do my best to explain a little bit of what you saw. For the second cinematic (Inarius vs Lilith), Inarius was formerly an archangel of the heavens and Lilith is the daughter of Mephisto (who is one of the prime evils of hell). Inarius and Lillith both grew tired of the never ending conflict between the heavens and hell and both rebelled and wound up together, had a son, and created Sanctuary. Sanctuary is the world that the game takes place in and home of the "humans" which are known as the nephalem. Nephalem are the offspring of angels and demons. In the cinematic you see that Inarius now regrets everything he did and created with Lillith and he was trying to earn his spot back in heaven. The last cinematic you watched had the character Neyrelle carrying a soulstone that contains the soul of the prime evil Mephisto. And obviously it is taking a huge toll on her and he is constantly tempting her to try and get free of the soulstone. There are 3 Prime Evils: 1. Mephisto - The Lord of Hatred 2. Baal - The Lord of Destruction 3. Diablo - The Lord of Terror These are the strongest demons of hell. There are lots of other demons as well but these are the big ones. I hope I didn't confuse you more than you already were lol. There is a lot of lore in Diablo so I just wanted to try and give you a short explanation of some of it, but I'm far from a lore expert when it comes to Diablo. Also, sorry for not warning you about potential scares, lol.

Yeah, Blizzard cinematics are incredible. I will try to find more Diablo ones and maybe some World of Warcraft ones as well for you. People have been wanting a World of Warcraft movie in the cinematic style for a while (They already did a live action World of Warcraft movie. I enjoyed it, but it didn't do great in the box office so they didn't make another one). It would be awesome if they did one for World of Warcraft and Diablo. So much lore in both games, so plenty of interesting content for a movie or show.

amazing timing! i just picked up D4 again to play the DLC so it's fun to see you reacting to it. The second trailer is the DLC trailer, so that's why it feels like a new game. the gameplay looks NOTHING like the trailers, it's top down and in a completely different art style, but the trailers are beyond amazing. the game is really fun if you like arpgs, it's got a lot of difficulty settings so anyone can have fun plus interesting classes
