OH MY GOD YOU GUYS LET ME HAVE FUN?!?! Are you feeling alright? That's not normal for you. Either way, I'm not complaining because I. HAD. FUN!! I never thought I'd see the day.

This was such an entertaining story that has both heart and humor and even though I haven't seen the older Spider-Man movies, I didn't feel like I was missing out on a ton. I'm sure there were certain nods or things that I would've caught if I was familiar with the other movies but I don't know what I don't know!

Happy FriYAY!! Let's end the week with one fantastic fucking movie!

❤Mister Papa Jackツ❤

As long as you liked the movie Gina and felt like you understood the story then you are good. This movie is basically something where if you like spiderman and miles Morales specifically this movie is something to rewatch over and over again noticing little details like during the chase seen with the prowler and miles was running away invisible and stuff, if you look at Miles in the eye during that he's crying cause his uncle is trying to kill him

This is one of the greatest animated movies ever made, let alone one of the best superhero movies ever made. It's got everything you could want from a movie, and it's super faithful to the comics. They really made a masterpiece with this one

GET ON THOSE ANDREW MOVIES

Aj Brandt

Now you gotta watch the second one

The look you had when Miles runs into Gwen after getting his powers can only be described as disgust and it is absolutely priceless! I think we all felt that. Spider powers or not definitely do not miss those awkward teenage years lol.

This is one of my favorite marvel movies. I grew up with the original MCU, but this movie cooked 😭 Also fun fact: The guy who says "I think it's a banksy" is Post Malone😭

Eroll

Just my opinion, but the movie could've been so much better without the spiderverse/multiverse (which I am not objective on it because I dislike multiverse trope more than time travels). Like there was such a nice build to Miles taking up the place of Peter. Showing what happens after he's gone and Miles proving himself etc... None of this needed the multiverse clownery :/ Also, it happening right after his death really lessen it's impact and importance and not to forget the scene when they bump into the tombstone which IMO was in poor taste. Animation and sound is amazing though.

GINA

so there is a second one! Are there only two?

GINA

hahah I think having him still be an awkward teenage even though he had those powers was great. I love a superhero who isn't immune to normal human experiences.

GINA

posty made a little cameo?? lol that man loves a side quest

Aj Brandt

So far yea but 3 is coming out sometime soon too

Higgs

As you demanded an answer and I haven’t seen one here yet, Spider-Noir was voiced by Nic Cage!

GINA

OF COURSE!! It all makes sense now. Thank you for answering my question because it was driving me insane lol

When it comes to the spider verse movies you don’t miss a ton having not seen the earlier Spider-Man movies, like you said it’s really just fun Easter eggs. However, I do want to say for your MCU watchthrough I highly, highly recommend watching the Tobey Maguire/Andrew Garfield ones before you get to Spider-Man No Way Home if you have time. Their movies/characters play a much bigger part in the story of that one and I feel like you’d genuinely miss out on important stuff if you didn’t have them for context!

Yo. I was a youtube folks until 5 minutes ago... yeah fuck them. We're gonna have a nice movie time. One of my favorites. 😂
