He's an ant... no he's a man... no, HE'S ANT MAN!

Genuinely did not expect to like this movie as much as I did. I think him and our protector Star-Lord would get along really well.... or they'd just be insufferable and absolute dicks to one another. Regardless, I still want to see them in the same room one day.

The analysis and commentary we all came for: "Maybe it's that fuck-ass bob?"

Toby Young

Gina how was your deep dive into dune video essays

Nat 🌸

You getting emotional about them holding onto him so he wouldn’t fall is so me 🤣🤣 Don’t worry, you’re not the only one forming odd emotional attachments lol

Fritz

Find someone that loves you as much as Gina loves CGI ants.

Mandeep Gujral

That last end credit is for the setup for Civil War so don’t stress for Bucky lol

Tom G

I like the fact that in the opening scene they aged up Haley Atwell to be Michael Douglas's age and de-aged him to be hers.

GINA

it'll be tough because my love for them is insanely high

GINA

I have officially watched civil war and I have to say... I'm still stressed about Bucky lol

GINA

oh thank god lol thank you for making me feel less alone hahah

GINA

the whole movie I was waiting for her to remove a wig and reveal her real hair... unfortunately, that was her real haircut?? An interesting choice!

I don't think I appreciated this movie at its time because I was so hyped for the other MCU movies coming out. That is a shame because this was way better the second time around.

Mandeep Gujral

Yeah I can’t help you there sorry lmao but he’s a chill dude fr

This movie was so much better than it ever deserved to be. I wasn't expecting much when I went to see it because Ant-Man is like a D list hero in the comics. At least Iron-Man has a long history of a solo book but Ant-Man doesn't even have that. The movie is helped by having some great supporting characters as Cassie and Louis are super fun supporting characters. It was also super creative in the visuals of shrinking and expanding of things which all comes from the creators and not the comics. You get so much more in a film media than with still comics. Great reaction as always.

Every time someone brings up Ant-man I cant help but remember when I was at the theaters watching the first Avengers movie for the first time. Everyone was yelling "where's Ant-man?" "You can't assemble without Ant-man!" etc etc. The joke being that, even though he is an original member of the Avengers, there was no way they were every going to make a movie about him, because who would want to watch that right? Imagine my shock when they announced this movie and my joy when it turned out as well as it did. I think we spoke this movie into existence lol.

Toby Young

Oh man can’t wait for civil war

Fritz

I got mad again bc I remembered that Edgar Wright (baby driver, also you saw the Shaun of the Dead trailer), was supposed to write and direct this, but the Marvel machine was so restrictive that they split during pre production

Eroll

The movie is fun but where Tony had a nice answer about who he is without the suit, I dont think Scott has anything and even him being antman entirely depends on someone else. Once the delivery of the chemicals stops he just stops being Antman and goodbye ?

..."and they build a colony." had me dying

I'm late to the party but this was the last time I didn't see a Marvel movie in theaters. I, like you wasn't so sure about a movie called "Ant-Man" but after seeing this on video, and loving it, I vowed I would never miss another Marvel movie in theaters again and I didn't.
