Though I still may not be entirely invested in the Batman storyline, this was one hell of a movie and I completely get why people love it so much.

Update: ha ha I'm dumb. I forgot that the company for the ad actually requested a change in the upload date to 12/19 so the edited version of this video is not going up until then but fuck it, you can still have it now because I love you <3

The Joker was planned to also play a mayor role in the 3rd one, especially after they saw his performance, but sadly he passed away shortly after they shot this. They had to rewrite everything and it does kinda show. The 3rd in not bad in any way, but weaker. Should still check it out to finish this story.

Does anybody else find it funny that Batman still uses his batman voice when talking to Lucius? Lucius knows that he's talking to Bruce. It's like, "Bruce why are you talking like that? You don't have to do the voice with me buddy, it's just us in this room." It seems like Christian Bale's Batman voice in this is more raspy/scratchy than in Batman Begins. It's like he doubled down on the batman voice. And yes that one crazy guy was in Ant-Man, as well as Murderbot and Dune part I. David Dastmalchian. Kind of fun name to say.

I think that Christopher nolan spoke about it, wanting this batman trilogy to feel more "realistic". Hence why the fighting isnt over the top etc.

Two face is a very prominent villain in the batman universe, although i believe this origin story is different from the comics

Correct. In fact the first case in this movie is an Easter egg to that comic moment, because that's how it happens canonically LOL except instead of a gun, the guy throws acid at him and it burns half his face. Which makes more sense cuz how the fxck would he get a gun through there 🤣
