So today's theme for trailer tuesday is apparently PAIN.

You all suck.

Why do you hate me?

Hope you still give Yi Yi a chance. It is one of the highest-regarded movies of the century. On Letterboxd, it's the 13th highest rated movie ever made. It's the perfect mix of beautiful, sad, funny, and loving. THE best movie about what it means to be human IMO.

God damn. Those all look like amazing, beautiful movies but I echo the sentiment of ‘Fuck! Why are these so saaaad?!’ I think you should watch Muppet Treasure Island to break the downbeat mood. 👀😎

Was not expecting these choices. I'm a big hirokazu koreeda fan so I would choose one of his but all 6 are amazing movies. Rental family is probably the best choice overall though as it is the most accessible.

Shoplifters is my favourite of these, but I agree with Ethan that Rental Family is the most accessible to watch together. It has a lot of funny and wholesome moments.

Yi Yi is is probably one of the greatest films ever made.

Fritz

I was so lucky to see it for the first time in the theater. I was in absolute awe both times and am itching to see it again soon.

Uri

Rental family please! 🙏 not many reactions to it online.

I know you put 12 Monkeys last but that trailer barely describes how wonderfully insane that movie is. It is a mind f*ck and Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis are amazing in it. I hope you give it more consideration but I get that for a young person like yourself, some older movies may not land as well. Trailers were designed back then to barely give you enough to understand what was going on. Now-a-days, trailers give away to much.

Mad at us for hurting her feelings and then puts all those movies at the top smh

12 monkeys is a great movie. Not a great trailer though doesn't do it justice. The twists are great. Also I live in the city where it was filmed so every time I watch it I go, "Hey I know where that building is!"
