We've reached the end and honestly? It was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up this story.

Gina, I've watched a lot of reactions over the years, but yours for TQG was one of the best. I was especially pleased when you said you were so proud of Beth, first when she declined to drink and then when she flushed the pills. That in itself is the best thing I've ever heard, for very personal reasons. And then you said it again, when she won, and it exactly mirrored my own feelings. And your reaction to the end was perfect. You called it and talk about wish fulfillment! A perfect ending to a great show. I did want to add my own observation that the music, especially from the point where she saw the pieces on the ceiling against Borgov to the end of the game and again during the encounter in the park was as good as it gets. Lastly I'm glad you mentioned how hitting rock bottom was instrumental to Beth's recovery. All in all, a great reaction to a great series.

It's ironic she's asked to talk about how being in Russia makes her glad to be an american, when seeing so many people in Russia being passionate for the game of chess I think has been one on top of many things she doesn't get in America.

I love shows like these that arnt really about chess, but its more about the people and the story. Another one I recommend is Ted Lasso! Its "About" soccer but is really heartwarming and funny and think you'd love it!!
