Joe

Way too many good choices on this list and I’m stressed.

Band of Brothers is, I imagine, outside of your preferred genre. Still, in regards to previous generations, the G.I. Generation (also called the Greatest Generation) was the last generation who tried to make things better for their successors. After that, it was the Baby Boomers (guilty) who forsook societal responsibilities for self-glorification and money and just quite caring what came afterwards. Sure, in their ignorance, the Greatest Gen set us up for failure...but the failure has been our own. Anyway, the journey that the WWII generation went on to make things better was filled with tremendous and horrible sacrifice. The war saw 70-85 million deaths worldwide, about 3% of the population. Okay, that no Thanos snap, but it is equivalent to a quarter of a BILLION today. They deserved to be remembered. While it was a T.V. series and subject to all the fallibilities that it implies, it is based on real events and feature interviews with the real veterans before and after each segment. On a side-note, I am currently fishing the best and strongest quad latte I've ever had. You might've been able to tell.

Can i just add if its the inbetweeners that wins, it needs to be the British one, not the US remake

R2.0

lol 100% correct. Sorry, forgot to specify that when I submitted it. Mainly because I try to pretend that the US remake doesn't exist!
