Dustin Fitzpatrick

I hope you do end up watching me earl and the dying girl it's a great movie

DWood

1st would be Decision to Leave, but like right behind it is Your Name and Me and Earl and the Dying girl, 3rd Blood in and Blood out, 4th The End of Oak Street, and finally The Lighthouse (this movie didn’t work for me).

Gio

Seems really dope! If she doesn’t watch, i definitely will on my own!

Fritz

For the other viewers, let me know what you thought of the List and the little info things. I had fun making it. I hope it improved your viewing experience. I struggled a bit to find good infos about the last 2 movies. That's why I put that bit about the horror movie in there. Just seemed so strange. I made this list a while ago, which is why the Oak street comment says it just came out, even though it is out of the cinema already. That is also why I put the League opening ceremonies in there since the only "trailers" at that point where the longer game movie things.

Fritz

My favorites are Decision to leave (I got a poster of it behind me) and the Lighthouse. Answering some of the questions: Yes, they watch the whole movie at festivals. People watch like 4 movies a day for 3 days and come out of it extremely exhausted and happy. A few big movie YTbers have done it and made great videos about it. Ghibli is dying bc it is built around a few amazing directors that are either 80+ or dead. They tried to make Miyazaki's son a director but he is sadly not very good at it. Also the way they make movies is very old school, expensive and very demanding on the staff. TECHNICALLY there are 2 more actors in the Lighthouse. A women that appears for a few seconds and a seagull. With the Jurassic Park/world stuff, only the one you have seen it a masterpiece. Park 2 is ok, but not amazing, afterwards that goes down the drain (3&4 are cash grabs by different directors) Then the first Jurassic World is pretty good again (basically the same story but bigger) and after that the franchise goes absolutely down the drain. I do think everyone is singing live. In other years it is more obvious. They are just getting better of choosing people that can sing live also their mixing is industry leading. The tickets (in the biggest arena in the UK) were sold out in minutes.

TIL Fritz is lovely 😮, according to Gina (unless ofc she just meant 'lovely' insofar as Fritz is in terms of moderating, in which case that's been apparent for many months now though it certainly bears repeating 🙂).

I have yet to see Lighthouse but I'm deeply intrigued by it. I don't know if it will land for me either, and I have to be in a specific mood for an art piece like that so I might never watch it anyway (and thus, never find out if it works for me, either). I definitely am likeminded to you with respect to your list, though if I *do* end up liking The Lighthouse, I might rank it higher than you did. 😶‍🌫️

DWood

Yeah it’s definitely one you have to be in the mood for, that may have been my problem, I watched in the wrong mind frame.

Fritz

It's not that artsy. It's a horror thriller with a ton of farts ;D
