How to change what armor a mod replaces (Patreon)
Content
I'm only recommending doing this on Supporter Bonus or Sponsored Works as Scantily Series have pfb and user files that will not work by simply renaming it.
You can use Bulk Rename Utility for ease of changing multiple files and folders.
Extract the mod to temporary place.
You put the number ID you want to replace here.
Armor slot that compatible to change is 019 for Dober F-F, 023 for Hirabami F-F, 057 for Battle F-F, 006 for Chainmail F-F, 014 for Balahara F-F, and 041 for Blango F-F. This is all armor that don't hide the hair, for mod that need to hide the hair such as Vermillion Wave use 004 for Bone F-F, 054 for Butterfly F-F, 013 for Conga F-F, and 030 for E. Odogaron F-F.
We'll use 057 to replace 006 as an example.
Make sure to check off the Subfolders so the change will be made to all folder tree inside the mod.
In main panel, you can use ctrl+A to select all folders and files to change.
But sometimes it will also change unintended part of the files
When this happens, you can ctrl+left click on that file to unselect it for now.
Click on Rename after making sure it select all the correct files.
Click OK for confirmation.
It will rename all the files
For the file that were excluded before, you can manually rename it.
You can then zip or rar them again and install it using Fluffy. If done correctly it will work in the game.
Leave comment if something is not clear enough.
Also, let me know if you guys need more guide for this kind of stuff.Additional for changing F-F to F-M and vice versaI seem to forgot to add these, for example:
ch03_060_0011 is F-F
ch03_060_0001 is F-M
Females use 001 while males 000, another is one is you also have to change the 001 folder to 000 and vice versa. For more comprehensive list of armor ID and path you can check these:MHWilds-Dumped-Data/Armor Models.csv at master · Synthlight/MHWilds-Dumped-Data
