Thank you all for your patient, i finally managed to fix my pc. The culprit turned out to be a failing 8 month old PSU. Although a budget one, its a platinum A tier in PSU tier list. I guess i'm just unlucky as it took out one of my SSDs that thank God still had warranty in this rampocalypse. I’m still checking the rest of the components for any lasting damage, but I should be back working on mods again soon.

For anyone interested, the failing unit was a SuperFlower Leadex VIII Platinum. The symptoms showed up as the 5V and 3.3V rails drifting outside the ±5% margin. You can check this yourself in the BIOS or with monitoring tools like HWInfo. These out-of-spec voltages can permanently damage components, so keep an eye on them especially with PC parts being so expensive right now.

Thanks again for your patients. More updates soon!

Im gland you were able to fix the issue. When I first buld my newest pc a couple of months ago, I also had a faulty PSU. It had an annoying coil whine and smelled like burnt plastic. I returned it next day and the employee told me that was the third return for that brand in a week. I think it was an MSI MPG A1000GS.

3rd return? Damn, no one safe from bad luck even from reputable brand.

Yep, I guess they had a particular bad batch of that model.
