EN - This time, I once again arranged a shoot with a new nude model. KATE is a Ukrainian model living in Bratislava who works all across Europe. One interesting detail was that our entire communication—including the shoot itself—was in English. That’s not much of a problem for me, but KATE showed me conversations she had with some Czech photographers who simply couldn’t communicate in anything but Czech. I definitely don’t envy them.

KATE is actually the fourth new model I’ve worked with in a row, and all of them are originally from Ukraine. It seems I’ve somehow become part of their community—and they’re all truly beautiful women.

The original plan was to shoot on a farm, and I had even managed to find the perfect location. But KATE missed her train. So I had to activate Plan B and called a friend who lived in the Dominican Republic for 15 years and is currently staying in Slovakia. He has a Caribbean-style garden and a brand-new swimming pool.

In the end, it turned out to be the better option anyway. It was 37°C (99°F) outside, so the water was more than welcome. Today we’re starting with the opening part in one of my favorite styles—the wet tank top.

CZ - Pro tentokrát jsem se opět domluvil s novou aktovou modelkou. KATE je ukrajinská fotomodelka žijící v Bratislavě, která fotí po celé Evropě. Zajímavostí bylo, že kompletní komunikace, včetně samotného focení, proběhla v angličtině. Mně to až takový problém nedělá, ale KATE mi už ukazovala komunikaci s českými fotografy, kteří si vystačí pouze s češtinou. To jim tedy moc nezávidím.

Pro mě je vlastně KATE už čtvrtou novou modelkou v řadě a všechny jsou původem z Ukrajiny. Zjevně jsem se nějak dostal do jejich komunity – a jsou to opravdu krásné holky.

Tématem focení byla farma, kterou se mi nakonec podařilo zajistit. Jenže KATE ujel vlak. Musel jsem aktivovat záložní plán a zavolal jsem kamarádovi, který žil 15 let v Dominikánské republice a momentálně je na nějakou dobu na Slovensku. Má zahradu ve stylu Karibiku a úplně nový bazén.

Nakonec to byla vlastně lepší varianta. Venku bylo 37 °C, takže voda přišla opravdu vhod. Dnes začínáme úvodní částí v mém oblíbeném stylu – mokré tílko.
