Love love love this!! You should 100% watch the full live gig from the O2 in London in 2019 (the one they mention in this documentary, where the manager booked the O2 to get them back together on stage). I'm so happy and grateful that I was in the crowd that night :) Love McFly!!!

Katie Abbott

was just re watching this and thought i would give u some extra info that wasn't mentioned in this doc (but was spoken about in their book) when tom says "that was the start of me being difficult to be in a band with" this was also partly because of tom dealing with depression and getting diagnosed with bipolar during that time which affected him in the band

ZedMC

I've recently discovered your McFly reactions on YouTube and when I saw you were reacting to this on Patreon I HAD to join! Really enjoyed this.. I would love to see you react to "Fearne and McBusted" (a 2 part TV special). It gives you a deeper insight to their personalities and the formation of McBusted.

Danny O'Malley

Would be good to see you react to their live Xmas concert they did on MTA especially with Xmas coming up. Xmas songs done rocky is so good.

Ellie webb

thank you Steven! loved it, hope you didn't cry too much haha

lee reynolds

Horribly underrated band! cant wait for more Mcfly content

lee reynolds

i need steven to hear "walking in the air" cover they did for christmas

KM

Noo! I'm crying again 😫😍

Sanna

This was so amazing to watch again with you, it really is amazing that you got to see this!

Jamie

I think any and all of their concert dvds because not only do they deliver every time on their own music and performances but all the different covers they do for each one are fantastic. Plus their banter on stage and all the behind the scenes content! :)

Alice McLaren

Thanks so much for reacting to this. It would be great to see you react to the comeback O2 gig they did because it's so great!

Charlotte Fontaine

The O2 show was sooo amazing. I was there. So happy I got to be there and I'm going back again this year.

Almida

God, I love this! Thank you Ellie x2 and Steven for this.

I’m so happy you’ve watched this!!! It’s the best way to know the kind of people they are and how heart they put in everting they do!! Is gonna hit different when you hear their albums now :P

Joely

I'm just so happy they were able to overcome everything and be so vulnerable with it. I love them so much! The comeback O2 show was amazing after knowing everything that went on. It was the best feeling being in that room! I feel like that would be a great concert for you to react to! They've done a few documentaries but off the top of my head I remember On the Third Floor and the Ryokou Japan one being fun. But obviously, would love some album reactions!!

Emily

We need album reactions! The albums have so much more meaning when you know about the band

Talía Caraveo

You introduced me to McFly from your reactions, and since then i've enjoyed and love everything I've gotten to see and hear with you from them. But seeing this, was amazing, so real and as you've said makes me love them even more.

I don't know about you but I find it really comforting to see people or groups especially argue, have fall outs- and then get through it. I latched on to McFly a lot during a bad mental health spell because their relationship just gave me this reassurance and escapism- it felt so lovely and solid. And one thing I have always hugely respected about them as people is how open they are. I remember reading about when Tom opened up about being diagnosed with bipolar and it was one of the first major successful people I knew who had had some bad spells too, who had some more long-term stuff going on. And then later Harry really opened up about his struggles with OCD. It was honesty in a way I wasn't used to and was really reassuring to me. They've written a few books over the years which have been fairly upfront. They were one of the first bands to take on the regular vlog approach- they used to have their own website they released them on. McFly will always have a special place in my heart because of their dynamic as a band especially.

I've been a mcfly fan since the beginning and nothing makes me happier than seeing People become fans. You have years worth of mcfly content to watch and listen too have fun.

Natalie 92x

I’ve watched the boys since 2003 been to pretty much every show. They cut deeper than the music the love the community is so strong, so happy you now have seen the true McFly. Thank you for reviewing this ❤️

Dee

Now you need to watch THAT 02 show. 😉 xx

Lily

I loved seeing you react to this video. Another documentary style video is their 'On The Third Floor' documentary (also on youtube). It's Tom and Danny talking more in depth about how they started out plus some music. I think you would love it!

Jacqueline

I love that we get so much content about bands. I hope there will be another video about The Vamps, but until then I am so happy to get to see another video about McFly.

Allison

So glad you watched it!!!! I love getting to see you see this other side to them. I remember when their book Unsaid Things came out and they had each opened up about a lot of their personal struggles. It helped me so much seeing people I looked up to so much talk about their challenges with mental health.

Amy Fardo

Signed up just to watch this haha. Thank you EllieX2 for requesting this.

Susana

omg i've always wanted you to do this - thanks Ellies'!

Jackie Warner

I feel like you'd like the doco the Jonas brothers put out as well. It's called Chasing Happiness. It's on Amazon. Talks about their career and the break up & coming back.
