Hi, everyone! I hope you've had a good February so far.

So I have something pretty serious to talk about. On Sunday I went to the ER due to chest pains, dizziness, and numbness in my fingers. They ran a bunch of tests on me and concluded that I didn't have a heart attack or anything like that, but that it was stress-induced. They told me to go home and rest, so I did.

I've now had two similar episodes and I'm working on getting the hospital to take another look at me. And on top of that, I think I might've caught something while I was at the ER (the waiting room and corridors were filled with sick people).

I have no idea how things are going to progress from here, but suffice it to say that I'm not going to be able spend as much time as I'd like on making renders and working on the game this week (I might not even be able to do much this month). Given that, I think it might be best for me to prioritize working on the game over making renders, so if you don't see any art posts, that'll be why.

I hope you understand.

Health is most important. Sorry this is happening to you. In my experience this has also happened recently and it was a panic attack. I would suggest getting some hydroxyzine if you can. No worries about not working on the game, we hope you recover and feel better soon. :3 <3

Your health takes priority over all the work you do for us. Don’t you dare think about returning to work until you’re at Least 95% better or I will sic Bessie on you so you can get the rest you need and deserve

Listen to your body. My doctors told me I was crazy for a YEAR, and that there was nothing wrong with me. Only for me to die and have to get resuscitated. Turns out I needed a pacemaker. My point is, keep pushing if you believe that something is wrong. Try to take care of yourself.

Take a break, put your health first, and figure out a path forward that keeps stress manageable, if not non-existent. Your game development and spicy renders can continue after a break, they can't if you're dead.
