New Hope V0.2 Patreon Early Release! (Patreon)

Here it is! New Hope V0.2 is finally ready for early release :D Everything changes from this point on! Your choices will dictate the story, and who you interact with on a more personal level. 

There are three possible routes, so if you're wanting to play ALL of the new content you'll have to play through it three times. Or, you can stick with the one story that calls to you. Don't forget to start a new game once downloaded. Your choices from the previous download won't translate over to this update.If you're from the US, please try and use the MediaFire download as that runs much quicker for you guys than those from other countries.

(Ramble time) The very first update was worked on mostly in secret, with a majority of the update already rendered and coded by the time of it's announcement. V0.2 was a much harder battle - trying to keep up with demand whilst working on a pretty much dead PC. Renders were taking 12+ hours - so it was looking pretty dire. But, through your guys amazing support I was able to upgrade my PC and work at a way faster pace! I'm now pumping out CG's phenomenally faster, to a point where I can now relax after work and not feel bad that I've not rendered anything. V0.2 is in Full HD to match the previous update and the work already done on my old PC. However, you can expect a full 4K game coming whilst I work in the downtime to update all the CGs. This is early access - and even though I've put the game through play-testing, some bugs and typos might have crept through. So please let me know if you spot any either in the comments or by messaging me. Don't forget to let me know your thoughts on the update!

Good work, love it so far, but need more nudes or sexual tension to get really hooked :) Suggestions: Ethan route, one or both could have a boner. Eyal route they get naked to swim or after to change. Theo route, possibility for Justin to go spy on him or find a way to force him to have to shower with Theo…

Enjoyed the update, shaping into a fun story. I noticed a typo. "here" is missing an 'e' when you're showing Eyal the lake. "Do you just wander around her..."

Hi! Glad you enjoyed it :) Thanks for the suggestions - but I’m focusing more on the story and characters than I am with nudity. It’s fun to explore that side more with the additional Patreon content. I’m gonna include nudity in game when it makes sense to do so for said characters. I did a slight bit on Theo’s as it made sense for him. But it would kinda take away from the overall tone - and a writer that’s important to me. But don’t worry! There’ll definitely be nudity coming as we get further into the story and as the characters get closer :)

Oh, and 'new' is misspelled as 'knew' when the player and Eyal are swimming and there's the aerial shot of them in the lake. "I always thought this forest was beautiful..."

Wahoo! That update is amazing! A long playtime that was very worth the wait. Plenty of things happened and unexpected events! I enjoyed it a lot going through the 3 routes. The characters are touching and full of surprises. I got addicted now and already can't wait to see how this will go. Happy that you've got your new PC now, it's promising for the future. Congratulations for your terrific work!

Personally, I liked them all but do have a slight edge of favoritism on Theo. He's in the same sort of 'space' as the main character. They're both dealing with their own demons and at the breaking point due to bottling their insecurities up. They could really be the support each other need right now. Ethan is great, but is my last choice only because I feel like your first crush is seldom the right person for you in the long term. Ethan should be allowed to go off and end up with a wife and kids. Remaining good friends with Justin into adulthood. The new guy in town is nice and an apparent pillar of strength. I like his personality but he's almost got a savior aspect to him and were I Justin I might be open to befriending him but unlike Theo or Ethan he doesn't have the connection of being in Justin's life since forever. Swooping in out of the blue and being Mr Perfect doesn't grab me as much as a flawed but 'trying' character like Theo.

I agree with you Luke. Although I enjoyed all the routes, the one a little bit above the others was the one with Theo. Regarding Ethan, I would be happy to see something happening between them too. Anyway, I guess that the next updates will perhaps offer to play further with those 3 routes. Again, can't wait to see more and this mysterious friend part is very exciting too.

This update was amazing!!! I agree all of the routes are interesting but Theo's seems to stand out a bit. Also not sure if its a either a small bug on Theo's route...or maybe it was intentional :3? when his eyes turn blue in one of the render's while he is talking with Justin's mom.

I agree Theo's route definitely shares that emotional bond with Justin where they both have the shared insecurities which makes it slightly more appealing.
