Putting the Pieces Together (Patreon)

Hey, everyone! First of all, I want to apologize for not posting anything this past week. I was planning to make a post on Friday, but something unexpected came up, and I only managed to do it now.

Anyway, let's get into another update! This time, we only have great news. 💜

The first one is that this week was much more productive than the previous ones. As I mentioned in the last update, I still wasn't 100% recovered from everything that happened, but now I'm feeling muuuch better and slowly getting back to my full pace.

Another great piece of news is that I'm now getting more help from a friend with some of the project's tasks, which takes a huge weight off my shoulders. Thanks to his help, in the next release we'll probably be able to update some of the game's older sprites, while also bringing the new gesture system to previous chapters. ✨

It's a fairly simple addition, but also a very time-consuming one, and it adds a lot more dynamism and impact to sprite-based dialogue scenes.

Meanwhile, I've been focusing on something very complicated.

Up until now, I've been creating the chapters of My True Desire somewhat independently, without knowing with absolute certainty what the next one would look like.

I had a general idea of how the beginning of the story would go, and I know how the characters' arcs will end, but until now, I hadn't fully defined the path between those points, exactly how everything would happen, or even when the story itself would end.

That's what I'm working on now.

And between us... this task is ridiculously difficult. 😅

For me, it feels like putting together a puzzle that's still a little blurry, while already having an idea of what the final image is supposed to look like.

Little by little, though, the pieces are starting to fit together.

I should have the script for the next chapter finished soon, and when the time comes, I'll also bring you a very interesting poll with some possible outfits for the characters in Chapter 07. 👀

For now, what I can share is that the direction of the overall story is much more clearly defined, and so are the future chapters, which, according to my current plans, should total around twelve.

Twelve chapters.

And the next one will be Chapter 07...

Which means we're probably entering the second half of the project. 😳

I have to admit that thinking about that made me a little emotional.

At the same time that it's kind of terrifying, I also feel extremely proud of the way everything has been coming together. It's been almost two years of doing what I do, and with each passing month, I've been putting more dedication, care, and love into this project.

And of course, I can't thank all of you enough for supporting me and My True Desire.

You are genuinely changing my life, and I truly hope I can give something positive back to you through stories that keep getting better, more exciting, and, of course, more erotic. ❤️
