It does seem like it would have made more sense for X-Less to have attacked Shigaraki’s body rather than the electronics to make sure he was no longer a threat- but I think it is pretty ingrained in this society that heroes don’t kill, even in these extreme circumstances, and why Hawks killing Twice is such a huge deal- and I don’t think they were trying to be mysterious with the voice that was calling out to Shiggy, maybe it just sounded weird because it was done through a filter that made it echo a bit or sound like it was from far off I think, but that was definitely One For All

I get the no kill vibe in general but I'm pretty sure he was specifically ordered to kill this mofo. I get being reluctant, but if I'm remembering it right then you need to follow that order for the greater good
