how do you feel about main character “dying” off in plots if its obvious they wont die by end of series

ShadowDog Productions

It truly is a case by case basis. I had no problem with it on a SF channel series I won't spoil because it was really well done, but other shows like Stargate Atlantis did it too often so that got old.

Ariel

You might not remember them, but the knights that those villagers cornered near the end of episode 20 that Dreyfus took the souls from were from the Weird Fangs- the order of knights that were in charge at Baste prison where Ban was being held back in season 1- the bald man was Ruin, the one who put Diane and Meliodas under an illusion to make them fight each other, and the woman was Freesia, the one who fought using insects

Ariel

If you didn’t pick up on it, Ban and Jericho were talking about how Elaine disappeared at some point after Ban left to help Meliodas- and Ban said it was because he attacked Melascula- the one whose power brought Elaine back from the dead- he and Elaine decided together for him to stop her and help Meliodas even if it meant that Elaine would no longer have life

Ariel

And now we have the official reveal that Meliodas was not only a member of the Demon race, but he was once the leader of the Ten Commandments, next in line to be the Demon King- and he betrayed them and started the Holy War 3000 years ago- the animation takes a big hit next season, but the story just keeps getting better/deeper imo, I’m excited for you to keep going
