Now we know why/how the revenge counter that Meliodas tried to use against the Commandments was stopped- because of Estarossa’s commandment that immediately stopped Meliodas’s ability to hurt them. If you didn’t catch it, that was the Demon King that was talking to Meliodas in Purgatory, he called Meliodas his son- Meliodas, Zeldris, and Estarossa are all sons of the Demon King (and full demon, even though they resemble humans more than most of the other demons we’ve seen)

Ariel

We did know that Elizabeth was adopted by the King of Liones- it was brought up in episode 2 of season 1 when she was talking to the kid in Vanya village- she connected with him because he had lost his parents and didn’t feel like he fit in because he didn’t have his “real” family, but she talked about how her adoptive family still loved her and treated her the same- it was also reiterated at the first Vaizel festival when her sister Veronica was “dying,” but that was still a while ago and understandable that you forgot

Ariel

Escanor is said by some to carry this show- I don’t agree, but I understand why they would say that- you heard some of his most iconic lines in these episodes- “Who decided that?” Lol

Ariel

As you probably guessed, the Goddess race has a hierarchy just as the Demon race does- Nerobasta (the goddess that Denzel manifested) knew she stood no chance against a commandment, much less 2, and that’s why she immediately tried to nope out of there lol
