DENIAL! Take me away!!!

(Also, I have a favor to ask. I know that Baracuda feels kinda left out in the Tier 1 comments because most people leave their comments in early access. Do you guys mind copying over at least one of your comments when new episodes pop up on Tier 1? Thanks.)

I’ve heard people use their names for “I” or “me” in plenty of other anime, it’s just usually translated as “I” or “me” rather than in third person which wouldn’t sound right in English- I think it’s usually also in the middle of a sentence they’re saying rather than right at the very beginning or at the end like Mayuri typically does, so it’s harder to hear

Adding on to my last comment, I’ve been hearing people say the person’s name that they’re talking to in place of “you” as well, it happens a lot in this show, it’s just that Mayuri’s use of her name as “I” is the only one translated in third person
