I dont think this season has been super focused on chris's family at all. to me it feels like its more about his relationship with Harcourt. And i think the entire final being about them proves it. the story of this season was Chris running from Flag Sr. because he killed his son and through that we explored Chris's relationship with Harcourt. In the other universe the relationship most explored was his relationship with her not his dad and brother. We see him ask Harcourt if the moment on the boat meant anything and when she said no he immediately goes into the other universe because she doesnt love him

Tim Meadows character never got better through the series. You just liked the actor. I still hate him LOL
