I need help from anime fans ... (Patreon)

My secret special project for my podcast is to watch a truly bad anime and (beyond the reactions) record my experience. Since I only know of one bad anime, I was going to do Death Note. So I rewatched the first episode but I realized a rewatch isn't going to cut it. I need something I've never seen before. I need something spectacularly bad. But not a parody like babobbobobobobobo or whatever the hell that was. That was trying to be bad. I need something that was trying to be good but FAILED.

So help me out, tell me the most objectively bad anime you've ever seen. Not one you disliked because it wasn't your thing. One that was BAD. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves about it as well, if you can come to a consensus about the worst one, more the better.

School Days is one that was rlly popular back in the day and mainly got its rep for how bad it was I'd love to see a reaction to that 😭😭 its rlly short as well just 12 episodes

I think most anime aren't bad, but rather mediocre. Its hard to find an anime that is objectively bad and you can tell that it is by the first episode. My current n1 is Solo Leveling because it relies not on the story, character development but "aura farming concept" or the fan service concept of "loser becoming God, and everyone praises them" which some people find enjoyable. Also, The Eminence in Shadow is pretty bad too though I am not sure if you can tell it by the first episode.

So a few shows I have watched with a friend. Sometimes it's really fun to just go dumpster diving for these really awful shows: 1. Master of Martial Hearts ( 5 Episode mini series, just, awful. I don't even think it's worth a special project thing like you're doing lmao, just thought worth mentioning, while I was watching it I managed to predict the ending almost perfectly just from episode 1 lmao. something funny though is that this show shares quite a few voice actors from Gintama ) 2. Evil or Live ( Had an interesting premise but somehow it's just the most boring thing I have seen, but still so funny because it was so bad ) 3. Gibiate ( The first episode really gives you a fake sense of security with a cool premise and somewhat decent animation and then it just goes down and down and down and down until you think it can't get worse and it still goes down. The person who voiced Shanks does a voice in this, and I think he was half asleep while doing his lines)

Otherwise, if we want to go by metrics, an anime called "Pupa" has insanely bad ratings and people who reviewed it seem like they saw a ghost. I haven't seen it myself but everyone who has told me to just stay away from it lmao

I asked some fellow anime peeps and they gave me these names: One Punch Man Season 3 (average score of 3.7) Ex-Arm (average score of 4.7) I would give you ones that I know but I don't... because if I did I definitely wiped my memory of them LOL!

I just peeked into the first episode of Ex-Arm and skimmed through it and oh my god, i am at a loss for words

I havent seen any of one punch man season 3 so i have no clue but is the animation the only bad part or is the story bad as well. because i know he doesnt focus on animation as much. is there may be a chance he might not notice how bad the animation is?

I do think OPM Season 3 just hits harder (in a bad way) when youve watched season 1.

Watch the last season of Fullmetal Alchemist (not Brotherhood). It is astounding how much they missed the mark
