The sweat stuff is an anime/manga staple. It's done to show anxiety in pretty much every series. Also Ponzu only Controlled Bees not other kinds of bugs. So you really didn't miss anything significant about the lady bugs.

When knuckle made the decision he did I stopped watching hunter x hunter for 6 months after that I came back and watched the rest of the show and then changed all of my social media profile pictures to my favorite character (it was a trend in 2019) and bought all of the books it's crazy that you havnt even got to the top 5 episodes yet but I imagine you are watching and recording some of those top 5 legendary episodes of HxH today
