I want to keep everyone updated on the progress of my convalescence after the poison ivy exposure. The giant blisters have finally shrunk (or popped in the case of two of them, so those two might leave scars) and now my fingers are just covered in scabs. They make it a bit hard to bend my fingers, but I'm at least able to type again now.

Writing has resumed, though I'm a little slow still. I managed just over 2,000 words today for the Era of Spirits and Shadows update that this incident caused me to miss last month. The chapter will hopefully be finished in due time and with it I'm hopeful to resume writing normally for all of you again. I'm definitely behind this month, but next month is Patron Appreciation Month, so hopefully everyone is looking forward to that too.

I'm grateful for everyone that stayed with me through these last two weeks or so...and for those that left, I do not blame you. With the rising prices of basically everything nowadays, maintaining a pledge to a creator that can't create is a hard choice to make when finances are tight. Once I'm back on track with writing, I hope to win everyone back in time.

Look forward to updates as they come, my friends!

Glad you’re doing better. Just make sure to keep an eye on the popped blisters so they don’t end up infected. I’ve had it happen to me and it was definitely not a pleasant experience.

It’s really good that your healing process is going well and hope your taking it day by day and not forcing yourself self care is very important.

Mr. Khaos

I'm just glad you're healing up but like someone said please please watch the popped blisters as those can get infected pretty easily. Glad you can type again as I enjoy your work! Poison Ivy sucks, the worst I've ever had it was when I got sunburnt so bad on my upper torso and arms that I had severe blistering and I got Poison Ivy on top of that... it was hell lol.

Craig Jacks

Even if your hands are feeling better, don't push yourself, and make sure you rest so you don't strain your hands. And be sure to take a break whenever they feel off, even if only a little. That can be the difference between being fully healed and a slow recovery.

Diego Cantu

So glad you are feeling better! Please take all the breaks you need and more if it means getting your hands better. Blisters are a nightmare to deal with, so I wish you all the best recovery I can send.
