To put it mildly, I have always disliked apple. But now I hate her even more. Why do they allow themselves to dictate the rules to another platform?

In short, it started last year. Due to the fact that the Patreon app is located on the AppStore, this application must have a subscription scheme where a person pays every month on the day they first subscribed, and not every month on the 1st.

Last year, everything was already moving towards this, but still patreon defended its right and such a subscription scheme was canceled. Earlier this year, Apple started fighting for a new subscription scheme again, and it looks like they won. Now all users are being forcibly transferred to such a subscription starting from November 1. You will pay on the day of subscription. For example, you signed up on November 15th, and the next payment will be on December 15th, not December 1st.

Of course, I understand that this is logical. But for many creators, this scheme is not suitable at all. Personally, I work according to the scheme that on the 1st I take the money I received, I see that I can live on it for the next month and start working. At the end of the month, I post my work. I do not plan to deviate from this pattern.

That is, it didn't make sense to subscribe to me in the middle of the month, not before, not now. Please subscribe approximately between the 31st and 2rd numbers.
