I hope two of you intend to react to some Halloween and Christmas films for the holiday seasons! I know that “Halloween” is mostly an American thing but it sure is a fun holiday with some fun movies! 😎

In my ever-so-humble opinion, THIS film perfectly epitomizes how to PROPERLY subvert audience expectations! I very much enjoyed watching it with you guys! Have you guys watched any of the vacation films? With Chevy Chase as Clark W Griswold? The first three are very much worth the time....excellent 80's era comedies!! Hill Billy isn't really that bad of a term, in general (I'm from Tennessee originally, smack dab in the middle of Hill Billy territory). Nowadays of course, there are some people who might be offended BUT those sorts of folks are gonna be offended no matter what you say...... words like Honky, Redneck, Peckerwood, Cracker, Trailer Trash, White Trash and Hick can be somewhat offensive depending on the situation but most people that I have encountered would just shrug those terms off. Certainly none of these approach N-word status.....that's a whole nuther realm.....

Really good reaction, I knew you guys were gonna like it. I don’t why but for me this reminded me of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, it has similarities but of course without the comedy. So if you guys want more gore look for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, they are older and recently versions of this but I recommend from the year 2003.

“Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning” is good as well.

Glad you enjoyed! It was a nice reset to have the comedy amongst the gore 😂 we so need to do some of the classic horror films! We have some lined up for October so can't wait to see what's in store then 😂😂

It was definitely funnier than we expected! A nice mix of classic gore and some surprising comedy. Plus the storyline actually wasn't too bad! Thanks for the clarification we weren't sure if it was reclaimed offensive word, a lot of the use we knew of it growing up was to be offensive but it isn't common terminology here! Haven't seen any of those films, not even sure if I have heard of them?! Although that is never surprising 😂

Oh for sure! We are having a bunch of polls for Halloween so you guys can help us pick from a good selection of classic horror, family friendly and slasher!! We will definitely do the same at Christmas! We love a good holiday 😁 wish we celebrated Halloween like you do in America it looks so fun!!

National Lampoon's Vacation series Vacation (1983) European Vacation (1985) Christmas Vacation (1989) hilarious films, back when Chevy Chase was funny onscreen..... If I may also suggest The Three Amigos and Spies Like Us, which both star Chevy as well, two of MY personal favorite 80's comedies.....that's FIVE movies that you guys would very much enjoy, I firmly believe!
