Thank you so much everyone that suggested a movie in the Cinematic Soulmate & Flix Legend Nomination Poll we recently held!The winner was Clueless, suggested by GDF.Lauren knew of this one and is sure she would have seen it as a kid but can't remember anything other than some of the iconic outfits haha. Harry however had no idea this one existed so it was a brand new experience for him! And one he thoroughly enjoyed!We really hope you all enjoy this one. That is Brittany Murphy yes lol. I love the character of Cher in this because in other films, she would probably be the mean girl villain of it. But in this, she's actually really nice and kind, she's just..well..clueless about how things work and makes mistakes. In the book, her (Emma in this case) has a sister (instead of a best friend) who is married to the Josh character's brother so they are sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Which I think is actually a lot less weird than the step-sibling thing going on. That's my only gripe with the movie really is their attempt at trying to still have them be sort of in the same family but they made it weirder lol.

No way?! I agree think the in-law concept would be way less weird 😂 Cher is such an icon, she was actually so lovely at heart but also had the perfect mix of getting something out of the situation too. It was such a good 90's flick that hasn't really dated at all! Can easily see why so many people love this film (me included and hopefully Harry also now!!) Thanks so much for recommending it!!
