bear in mind that jabba is nearly 600 years old at this point, he's had quite a long time to amas wealth and power. He made his fortune doing ordinary bad guy shit like smuggling, glitterstim spice dealing, slave trading, assassination and piracy. Rodita Amm {Mama the Hutt, Ziro's mother, Jabba's grandmother} was 1000 years old at the point of this episode. Word on the street is that BTS, she was partly based on the character Pearl in the vampire flick Blade (if ya'all haven't watched that series of films, I would recommend them, also recommend watching the three GOOD Underworld films: Underworld, Underworld Evolution and Rise of the Lycans) Quinlan Vos is essentially the jedi order's equivalent of the dude from the big lebowski Vos is a Kiffar jedi (near human species) and he has force enhanced Psychometry (some times referred to in universe as retrocognition) which allows him to perceive memories by touching objects that someone else has touched. One of the things that makes him such a good tracker. There are a few jedi who have this gift, it should be noted that a jedi must be born with it. You can't just study your way into it. one of the hutt elders is gardulla, I don't know if ya'all remember or not, but Schmi and Anakin were originally HER slaves till she lost them betting on a podrace on Tatooine. Also Sy Snootles (killed Ziro) IS, in fact, the same Pa'lowick that we see in Jabba's palace singing during the beginning of Return of the Jedi

Palpatine will do anything to defend his Empire, that being said he knows he could easily very easily kill Cad Bane. The only reason he doesn’t kill the Bounty Hunter is because he likes a little chaos roaming along his galactic Empire. Quinlan Voss is a very unique Jedi, his very fun to watch.

Quinlan Voss was great fun yeah, very much enjoyed his screen time, hopefully he re-appears again in the future! Chaos creates opportunity i guess, so yeah, that can be useful haha.

Not gonna lie, didn't realise Jabba was that old haha. We havent seen Blade at all yet so sadly the Pearl reference goes over our head for now haha, we do want to watch it though as well as Underworld! Both on our to do list haha. Another missed reference, neither of us have seen the big lebowski either haha, another one to get around to watching at some point! Jeeez we have seen hardly anything haha. Ah yes i remember that line from Phantom Menace regarding Gardulla the Hutt! And thats cool Sy Snootles (wild name haha) is the same one!

It is kind of funny that they did the Senate hostage episode in Season 1 and then in Season 3 Lucas was like, "let's do two episodes back to back about what happened before and after that episode" lol. And also the ones after Season 1 where they gave you the story of how Ahsokha and the bounty hunter woman first fought each other before she ended up with Cad Bane. This story would be so confusing if you weren't doing the chronological order lol

We agree, it's so odd! I feel like they have completed season one and then realise certain storylines are really good or the audience favoured some characters more than they expected so they want to flesh them out but... boy this would've lost me if we had just watched season by season. Plus I feel like we root for the characters more now since you grow to like/dislike them for a whole arc
