Brilliant reaction once again guys!! Some more details about Maul and these two episodes - When he fell down that shaft in phantom menace he utilized the force to grab onto a vent which turned out to be a garbage container. From there he was picked up by one of those garbage ships and transported to Lotho Minor where he then constructed those spider legs himself from whatever he could. Also the lightsaber he wields in this episode is actually the original one he had from phantom menace which is why it is only single sided as it was cut in two by Obi Wan. He held onto it when he fell down the shaft after being cut in half. The sayings he repeats when Savage finds him are bits and pieces from the Sith code which Palpatine forced him to memorize and live by. This seems evident but he basically tapped into the dark side of the force immensely to stay alive as like Palpatine says "The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural"

I had the same reaction almost the same as you guys when I saw Maul with those spider legs on the first time, but I didn’t know what to think of them. But once Mother Talzin reconstructed his body and gave him new legs I was like okay let’s get this episode going!! So yeah Maul survived because he was trained as a Sith he knows how to stay alive without resources, and by doing this they either know or are trained and is a Dark Side ability called Force Drained, the technique is they take the life force of a living animal, person, or alien in the process killing their victims and they transfer this life force into them to heal or become stronger; in this case more life because Maul was living underground. Did you guys noticed all the dead clunkers in the entrance of Maul’s cave before Savage fell down? That’s your answer right there 😂

Ah yes we noticed all the bodies but weren't sure if it was the snake taking them ar first 😯 so glad he is alive and now he has he new legs it'll be epic!!

Ah so interesting! The code is so fascinating and it's really cool to be seeing more of the Sith world! Epic he is back and with new legs, cannot wait to see more of him!
