David vs Goliath - Channel Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone, Happy Friday!

We wanted to update you with what's been going on behind the scenes with the channels. We are unfortunately experiencing some significant issues with YouTube and we have now made the decision to take legal assistance in order to remedy this.

We are keeping our spirits up as we strongly believe the decision affecting us was made in error. We understand others have reported similar issues online, and it is proving near impossible to get any further with YouTube ourselves without legal assistance.

We started this channel two years ago as a small town girl from New Zealand who clearly needed encouraging to explore more movies than just chick flicks from the 2000's! And a very bright eyed boy who just wanted to force his wife to watch Star Wars and Lord of the Rings and it turns out this was the only way 😅.We are so proud of our wee channel and absolutely love the community we have developed so getting legal involved feels very scary and not something we ever imagined! But we've watched enough underdog movies to know we have to give it our all (looking at you Rudy and Braveheart (minus the ending!) 😅).

Firstly Patreon will continue to be up and running as normalNothing will be changing here, we will continue on with TV and Movies reacts as well as our American Culture Reacts! We love what we do and we love our community so this won't be stopping! This also means we will be trying out more streaming over on Twitch to fill the gap, this will be in a casual hang-out vibe if you want to come and live chat with us 😊Twitch Link - Click Me

YouTube will now be on pause for as long as this takes, we are hoping for a quick resolution however, we are very aware it will take some time (probably not before the end of September). We will not be able to post videos, comment or even put a community note on to let our followers there know what is going on.

We are doing everything we can to get a positive resolution, again we are realistic that things may not go our way since we are only a little channel. We will keep you up to date as things proceed, lets hope we haven't torn all of our hair out by the end of this saga!

We love chatting with you all here in DMs and on posts so with YouTube on pause we are hoping to do more of that!
