as Band of Brothers comes to a close, I've narrowed down the shows that I'm wanting to watch next! vote for your pick!whatever show wins will be exclusively on Patreon for a few months, as I'm going to be limiting my posting on YouTube while I'm working full time on a new film job.

As much as I like Severance and True Detective - Chernobyl is probably the best on this list

TD S1 (8 episodes) is awesome. But I voted Chernobyl (5 episodes). Compelling series. IMDb 9.3. Won Emmy for Outstanding Limited Series.

While Chernobyl is a great choice, it would be like just beating Camilla over the head with trauma over and over (she has been watching sad shows back to back) - True Detective at least offers that suspense, drama beyond just the shock value of it all. I'm certain she would love both, but I'd say True Detective is a better choice at the moment.

So, it can only be black or white when it comes to shows? Might as well say "tragedy or comedy". Chernobyl isn't sad for the sake of being sad. Like Band of Brothers, it's recounting a real event. And while a lot of these real events have tragedy, that's also where the light, the hope, shines brightest. Camilla must have noticed this with Band of Brothers. After the fighting stopped and the soldiers had their moments of rest, those are moments to be considered more precious than if we're laughing all through a comedy until we choke.

Chernobyl is only 5 episodes, and then hopefully True Detective S1 (awesome and disturbing) will be next.

Though Chernobyl is a difficult watch, Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgard, and Emily Watson are excellent actors at the top of their game. I always suggest that before watching Chernobyl, read a little about what life was like in the 70's and 80's in the Soviet Union.

While I get where you're coming from - this poll was put up by Camilla. I'm sure she's fully aware of the nature of the shows she presents for a vote. She's obviously a smart woman and knows where to direct her channel. I'd suggest trusting her in the direction of this channel.
